Burr is a common phenomenon in metal cutting.The age of 5G has arrived.The screen area of the mobile phone is increasing.It is developing towards lighter,thinner,more fashionable,and more luxurious.Aluminum alloy with good properties is widely used in the mobile phone metal frame.Most of the metal mobile phone frames need to be milled,which will form burr.However,at present,the research on milling burr was more inclined to micro-milling milling burr,groove milling burr,and end milling burr,while there was little research on the burr of the frame in vertical milling.Through the finite element simulation and milling experiment,the burr formed by precision milling aluminum alloy 6061 frame was studied in this study,which has reference significance for improving the quality and efficiency of production.In order to further improve the theoretical research on the formation of vertical milling burr.Based on the study of the formation mechanism of metal cutting in burr and cutting out burr,combined with the characteristics of orthogonal cutting and oblique cutting,the burrs of vertical milling frame were divided into cutting in burr and cutting out burr formed by orthogonal cutting or oblique cutting.The top burr and the bottom burr were produced in precision milling of the mobile phone frame.The top burr was the cutting out burr formed by oblique cutting,and the bottom burr was the cutting in burr formed by oblique cutting.The main factors that affect the burr formation in vertical milling were clarified,which provided a theoretical basis for the study of the burr formation in precision milling of the mobile phone aluminum alloy frame.The finite element simulation model of the vertical milling frame was established,and the milling simulation experiment was carried out to analyze the mechanism of the burr formation process of the milling frame;through the simulation of the burr size results and the simulation of milling force,analyzed the milling parameters such as milling speed,feed speed,cutting width,and the influence of down milling and up milling on the burr formation;the simulation value and experimental value of burr size have good consistency,which provided a reference for optimizing the actual experimental milling parameters.Through the method of an experiment after optimization,the influence of milling parameters and milling methods on the burr formation of aluminum alloy mobile phone frame was studied.Finally,the optimal milling process parameters that can effectively reduce the burr formation of the mobile phone frame in precision milling were explored.After the corner milling,the shape and size of the burr will change to some extent.In this study,the burr formed in milling can be divided into the top burr and the bottom burr of milling face before fillet,the top burr and the bottom burr of fillet surface,the top burr and the bottom burr of milling face after fillet,which was helpful to find out the rule and influencing factors of burr formation.
