With the development of cold heading technology,there are more and more kinds of fasteners that can be processed by cold heading machine,and the shape of nonstandard shaped parts is more and more complex,thus traditional cold heading equipment can not meet the production demand.In order to break the monopoly of foreign technology and realize the independent innovation of China's high-strength fastener manufacturing equipment technology,this paper is based on the national science and technology major special project “Research on Key Technologies of highspeed and precision multi station cold heading machine digital prototype” and Zhejiang Ningbo major special project “research and development and industrialization of highprecision composite CNC cold heading forming equipment” to research on the key technology of environmental protection and reliable multi position servo cold heading equipment.The main content of this paper is as follows:1)The mechanical structure schemes of servo cold heading machine are explored,then the appropriate mechanism is selected to achieve the predetermined action of each component,and the processing methods and technical requirements of all parts are clarified.According to the working requirements of the servo cold heading machine and the motion curve of each part,working cycle diagram of the equipment is designed.Finally,the collision test simulation of the whole cold heading equipment is carried out and the structure of the slide back guide is optimized.2)Introducing the working principle and design idea of oil mist processor,the oil mist processor of cold heading equipment is designed from two parts: oil mist collecting part and oil liquid separating part.Describing the mathematical basis and specific analysis flow of computational fluid dynamics,and the internal fluid motion state of collecting parts and separating parts is simulated,then selecting the best combination of suction performance and separation effect,the oil mist processor based on the scheme is applied to the actual production.According to the practical application,the design scheme can achieve better working effect.3)Defining the working process and control requirements of cold heading machine,and selecting servo motor,driver,controller and other components that meet the requirements.Drawing the electrical control circuit diagram and researching the structure and principle of the control system.The reliability of the control system is predicted by the success oriented method,and the higher reliability and safety integrity level of the redundant control system is verified by quantitative analysis and calculation.4)The servo control hardware system of cold heading machine is built and debuged.According to the working cycle diagram of the equipment and the motion characteristics of each component,the motion program is compiled.Mpscope software is applied to realize data interaction between devices.Analyzing the design requirements of control system software and building the structure of servo control system software with Lab VIEW software.Achieving the basic control and linkage control of the servo axis of the cold heading machine.
