With the constant expansion of natural gas business and further improvement of infrastructures,Sinopec will build a complicated natural gas pipe network system including LNG terminal, gas storage, gas pipelines and all types of users in North China(Beijing,Tianjin,Hebei,Shandong,Shanxi,Henan,Shaanxi)in 13 th Five-year period. The North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network of Sinopec is faced with the challenge of complex factors, such as fast growth of production and marketing task, insufficient transmission capacity of pipeline, prominent contradiction of peak adjustment in winter and summer, large uncertainty of downstream users’ demand and so on.Therefore, carrying out the adaptability analysis of the North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network of Sinopec from 2019 to 2023 can give advice for the recent pipeline facilities construction and market resources supply, put forward the coping strategies for common accident conditions, lay the foundation for realizing Centralized operation and dispatching of the whole natural gas pipeline network of Sinopec, and provide the necessary tools for regulation training for production personnel. In this paper,TGNET simulation software is used to build the 2018 natural gas pipeline network model on the basis of collecting pipeline and infrastructure data. Then screen the 2017 pipe network operation data, calculate the error between the simulated pressure and the actual pressure under the actual transmitting volume, and check the construction of pipe network.Furthermore, study the gas consumption characteristics of users to predict the annual and monthly gas consumption of users from 2019 to 2023.In the end, simulate the general working conditions of the pipe network in 2019,2021 and 2023 and the fracture accident conditions of Y-J gas pipeline in 2021 respectively through TGNET simulation software taking the gas consumption of users as the boundary condition, analyze the adaptability of the pipe network, and put forward the pipeline facility construction schedule plan, the pipe network resource supply plan and the accident response plan. This paper uses TGNET simulation software to analyze the adaptability of North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network of Sinopec, which is helpful to improve the design and management level of North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network, and the following results are obtained:(1)Collected the data of annual gas consumption of users in north China, analyzed the gas consumption characteristics and laws of users in North China, andpredicted the gas consumption trends of four types of users of urban gas, direct supply,CNG enterprises and gas power plants in 2019-2023;(2)The basic data of LNG terminals, storage facilities, pipelines and other facilities in North China of Sinopec were collected.Based on TGNET,the simulation model of North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network of Sinopec was established. The error of the model was limited in 5% after checked and adjusted with 2017 operation data;(3)Taking the gas consumption of users as the boundary conditions, the steady-state simulation was carried out for the conditions with the maximum pipe flow under the injection and production conditions of gas storage in 2019,2021 and 2023 respectively. With the goal of meeting the gas consumption demand of users, the direction and schedule of the reconstruction and expansion of pipelines and facilities were proposed;(4)Aiming at the fracture accident of Y-J gas pipeline caused by geological disaster in 2021,the dynamic simulation was carried out on the measures of reducing the gas consumption of users or gas injection from gas storage after the accident, and the accident stability North China Natural Gas Pipeline Network of Sinopec was verified.
