Metallurgical industry has always been one of the most important industries in China’s national economy.As an important pillar of China’s metallurgical industry,iron and steel industry is an industry with early start and rapid development.In the process of steel manufacturing,the long industrial chain,the strong continuity,the complex process equipment and the poor operating environment with high temperature,high potential energy,high pressure,and harmful gas means that steel enterprises have many uncertain risks and accidents are frequent.Many major safety accidents happened in iron and steel enterprises every year,which not only causes a large number of casualties,but also brings huge economic losses,and even lead to the closure of enterprises.It can be seen that although China’s basic safety management and production safety situation has made great progress,but there is a certain gap with the essential safety.Therefore,it is of great significance to strengthen the study of safety production risk management in metallurgical enterprises to promote the long-term construction and development of China’s iron and steel enterprises.Taking H company as an example,based on the theory of risk management,through the analysis of H company’s production situation and production process,the 95 major hazards existing in the process of production was found out.Combined with H company questionnaire,the paper identified some high risks in H company,for example,the safety performance assessment is not strict and the training of safety education has a poor effect.Secondly,on the basis of the risk identification of H company,the index system of safety production risk assessment of H company was established based on the scientific and comprehensive principle.The analytic hierarchy process and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method were used to determine the weight of the relevant indicators and to evaluate and classify the production safety risk.Finally,combining with the results of risk identification and evaluation,on the one hand,the paper puts forward the improvement countermeasures of risk response such as,improving the emergency rescue system,paying commercial insurance,using big data,cloud platform and other advanced information technologies.On the other hand,H company should provide a strong guarantee for H company’s risk control such as safety culture guarantee,human resources guarantee,and performance appraisal.
