Nitrogen oxide(NO_x)is one of the main pollutants in the atmosphere and is the main cause of acid rain and photochemical pollution.Power plant boilers are the main source of NO_x emissions because of the large amount of nitrogen oxides produced by the combustion of coal.Air quality problems in North China has aroused strong concern,more and more stringent emission standards of air pollutants for coal-fired power plants were introduced,which pressured power plant with social responsibility.The thermal power plant using the technology to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides imminent low nitrogen combustion.The transformation of low nitrogen burner as a mature technology to reduce NO_x emissions has good control of NO_x,high boiler efficiency and wide adaptability of coal.Through the transformation of the low nitrogen burner,the boiler combustion is suitable for a variety of coal quality,reducing the NO_x emission grade and ensuring the latest environmental protection requirements.The paper focus on the low nitrogen burner of the 300MW boiler of the Qingyuan thermal power plant.The development history of low nitrogen combustion technology,low NO_x combustion technology and the related theoretical knowledge of this project are expounded from the current research status at home and abroad.Through the comparison of several low NO_x burner retrofit scheme,we determine the wall tangential air combustion using depth classification scheme,after the transformation of Qingyuan thermal power plant burner.The equipment after the transformation,we carried on the burner cold test and hot test,The equipment after the transformation,we carried on the burner cold test and hot test,including:low NO_x burners structure measurement and installation quality inspection,primary air wind speed leveling and calibration,second air speed adjustment and calibration and aerodynamic field in furnace,fireworks tracer test load on NO_x emissions and boiler efficiency test of the coal mill variable parameters and variable operation number test.The results showed that the speed of reasonable design,no skew and tangential burner,whitewashing phenomenon.Burning lean coal,soda,attempt eration water and parameters of normal NO_x emission concentration is less than 450mg/m,the combustible matter in fly ash is less than 4%,full load boiler efficiency is greater than91%,the indicators have reached or exceeded the design value.The experimental data after the transformation of the low nitrogen burner is also of guiding significance to the operation of the unit.
