Study On Security And Pharmacodynamics Of Rumo Liniment

Objective The study aimed to explore the security of Rumo Liniment including the general toxicity,irritating and allergic in vivo;and evaluate the pharmacodynamics effects of anti-inflammation,detumescence and analgesic of Rumo Liniment.Methods1.The experimental animals are SD rats.First,to evaluate the general toxicity of Rumo Liniment,including acute toxicity and long-term toxicity.2.Based on toxicity testing,then the experimental animals are KM mice.To determinate the effects of anti-inflammation,detumescence and analgesic with mouse ear swelling model,pedal swelling model,hot plate test and writhing test,granulation tissue hyperplasia induced by Tampon test in mice.3.With acute inflammation model—Mastitis model which formation by staphylococcus aureus infections breast of lactation mice,to further explore the effect of anti-inflammatory of Rumo Liniment.4.Healthy rabbits and guinea pigs were used to detect irritation and allergies of the skin for Rumo Liniment.Results1.General toxicity test results:The acute toxicity test showed that the maximum percutaneous dose of Rumo Liniment was 60g/kg,no death within a week;The long-term toxicity test shows,using of Rumo Liniment has an effect on the weight of rats but it can be restored,basing on the analysis of the indicators and observation of pathological sections,eventually,determine that the long-term use of Rumo Liniment influential to the liver and kidney.2.The results of Pharmacodynamics experiment showed that the low,medium and high dose group acts on the female and male mice,the ear swelling inhibitory rates were 26.99%、35.26%、35.38%and 22.25%、25.59%、27.06%respectively;the pedal swelling inhibitory rates were 7.62%、32.26%、24.31%and 24.95%、46.42%、27.16%;the writhing analgesia percentage were 11.04%、49.58%、16.22%and 42.86%、19.29%、33.39%;in the hot plate test and granulation tissue hyperplasia in mice induced by Tampon test,each dose group of Rumo Liniment was no significant difference compared with nomal group(P>0.05).3.The effect of Rumo on mastitis in mice showed that,the levels of TNFa and IL-6 in breast tissue and serum of Mastitis model is more than the normal group and each dose group of Rumo Liniment(P<0.05).4.Rumo Liniment is no irritation and allergies for skin.Conclusion The percutaneous dose of Rumo Liniment has a large safe range,no irritation and allergies for skin and the liniment can effectively inhibit the swelling,and relive the pain caused by chemical not physical.
