Relationship Between ACE Gene I/D Polymorphism And Antihypertensive Efficacy Of Angiotensin-converting Enzyme Inhibitors Drugs In Hypertensive Patients Of Kazak And Uyghur In Xinjiang

Objective:To investigate the correlation between the angiotensin-converting enzyme(ACE)gene I/D polymorphism and prospective antihypertensive efficacy of ACE inhibitors(ACEI)drugs in Xinjiang Uyghur,Kazak patients with essential hypertension.Method:Form November 2015 to April 2017,394 patients with primary hypertension in the first Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were enrolled,inciuding 203Kazak cases,Uyghur 191 cases.The efficacy of the ACE I/D genotype,ACEI drug expected efficacy,and adverse events were detected by the Gene Polymorphism Test Kit(PCR-fluorescence Probe Technique).The antihypertensive efficacy and adverse reactions of ACEI drugs were analyzed.Results:Among the 394 patients,the number of normal sensitivity and high sensitivity to ACEI were 137 and 257 respectively.The frequency were 34.77%and 65.23%.Kazak patients is 35.96%(73/203)and 64.04%(127/191),Uyghur nationality were 33.51%(64/191)and 66.49%(127/191)respectively.There was no significant difference between the two groups(x~2=0.26,P>0.05).In 394 patients,the number of adverse drug reactions to ACEI was 81,and the frequency significantly increased by 20.56%;of which 21.67%(44/203)in Uighurs and 19.37%(37/191)in Kazakh.There were no significant difference between the two nationalities in the adverse reactions of ACEI(x~2=0.320,P>0.05).Unconditional Logistic regression analysis showed that the national differences in ACE I/D were not related to the efficacy and adverse reactions of ACEI drugs.(OR=0.69、2.25,P>0.05).Conclusion:There is no correlation between ACE gene I/D polymorphism in Xinjiang Kazak and Uygur patients with essential hypertension and the curative effect of ACEI drugs and adverse reactions.
