Flow Cytometry CD64 To Identify The Significance Of The Infection Of Rheumatoid Arthritis

Objective: To investigate the clinical significance of neutrophil CD64 expression in discrimination between infection and disease flare in patients with rheumatoid arthritis(RA).Methods: Select patients of September 2016-June 2017 to the First Affiliated Hospital to Xinjiang Medical University.Peripheral blood was obtained from 30 healthy controls and 63 patients with rheumatoid arthritis(29 with infection & 35 with active RA).The correlation analyze between neutrophil CD64 and CRP,ESR,PCT in RA patients.Drawing the receiver operating characteristic curve.Results: In the infection group,expression of CD64 [4.08(3.24~6.29)]was significantly higher than in the active RA group[2.60(2.09~3.08)] and healthy controls[2.73(2.49~3.04)](P<0.05).The expression of neutrophil CD64 was positively correlated with PCT in RA patients with infection(r=0.409,P<0.05).There was no correlation between CD64 and CRP,ESR,PCT in active RA group(P>0.05).The sensitivity of neutrophil CD64 in discrimination of infection in RA patients was 82.8% and the specificity was 97.1%.Conclusion: Neutrophil CD64 expression has a good sensitivity and specificity in discrimination between infection and disease flare in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.It could be helpful to early diagnosis and timely treatment.
