| Objective To explore the feasibility of rapid identification of parathyroid glands in thyroid and parathyroid glands by fluorescence microsphere immunochromatography. Methods Clinical data of 36 patients who underwent thyroid and parathyroid surgery in the same medical group of the thyroid surgery department of First Hospital of Jilin University from July 2017 to October were collected. All the surgeries were done by the same surgeon using 1m L needle of the same specification. The parathyroid tissue and non-parathyroid tissue were punctured, and their T1/C values were measured by fluorescence microsphere immunochromatography.Comparing the T1/C values between the different group of tissue, and the punctured tissue was compared with the pathological results. Results In total,51 sets of data were collected.T1/C mean value of parathyroid tissue was(3.653±3.177),and the mean value of T1/C value of the non-parathyroid tissue was(0.056±0.027).The difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between parathyroid and parathyroid adenomas T1/C(P>0.05).There were statistically significant differences between parathyroid and thyroid, lymph node and fat T1/C(P < 0.05).The true positive rate of immunofluorescence technique to identification of parathyroid(sensitivity)was 95.7%(22/23),false positive rate(misdiagnosis rate)0(0/28),true negative rate(specificity)100.0%(28/28),false negative rate(omission diagnostic rate)4.4%(1/23),accuracy98.0%(50/51).Conclusions The application of fluorescence microsphere immunochromatography can be used to identify the parathyroid tissue in real-time,with high sensitivity and specificity, simple and convenient operation, and recommended clinical promotion. |
