| Objective:The meta-analysis was made for the clinical study which aimed at the detection of magnetically guided capsule for patients with upper abdominal complaints. Methods:We searched the databases like Pubmed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Sinomed and so on,then found the clinical trails which study the application of magnetically guided capsule in the disease of upper digestive tract by January 2018.We selected the studies according to the including and excluding criteria and the quality evaluation of the included literature was made.Data extraction was performed, followed by a meta-analysis through the metadisc1.4.We used meta regression to evaluate the heterogeneity of the studies.Forest polt and SROC was made, followed by subgroup analysis and sensitivity analysis. After the evaluation of risk of bias, the classification of evidence quality and strength of recommendation was performed. Results:This meta-analysis enrolled 9 studies consisted of 1324 participants. After the combination of the effect sizes,as for the detection of magnetically guided capsule for patients with upper abdominal complaints,we calculated the sensitivity of 0.88,the confidence interval of 0.85-0.91,the specificity of 0.82 and the confidence interval of 0.78-0.86.We found huge heterogeneity of the specificity. In the subgroup analysis, the sensitivity of domestic NaviCam magnetically guided capsule was 0.92,in the confidence interval of 0.88-0.95 and the specificity was 0.90 in the confidence interval of 0.87-0.93.Hierarchy of evidence quality was level B.We found no serious adverse events in the selected studies. Conclusion:Magnetically guided capsule is of satisfied safety and sensitivity of the patients with upper gut complains, and the diagnostic ability of the domestic NaviCam capsule is better than the average level. |
