| Objective:To explore the correlation between serum cystatin C(CysC)and cerebral small vessel disease(CSVD).Method:From January 2017 to November 2017,199 patients(CSVD group)diagnosed with cerebral small vascular disease at the Department of Neurology,Shengjing Hospital Affiliated to China Medical University,and 98 patients(non-CSVD group)with normal MRI examination during the same period were selected.According to the characteristics of MRI,the CSVD group were divided into 4 subgroups:119 cases with lacunar infarction,28 cases with leukoaraiosis,32 cases with lacunar infarction with leukoaraiosis,and 20 cases with brain atrophy.All subjects were enrolled in the determination of serum Cys C levels and other routine biochemical indicators,recording the general clinical data of all study subjects.Statistical analysis of the experimental data was carried out by using social science statistical software package.Result: 1.Comparing the general clinical data of CSVD group and non-CSVD group,there were significant differences in age,sex,history of hypertension,history of drinking,CysC,eGFR and CRE(P<0.05).History of Smoking,history of diabetes,HCY,TG,TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,UA and GLU had no statistical significance(P>0.05).2.Binary Logistic regression analysis found that Cys C,CRE,sex,and history of drinking were independent predictors of CSVD(P<0.05).3.Serum levels of Cys C of leukoaraiosis group,Lacunar infarction with leukoaraiosis group and cerebral atrophy group were significantly higher than those in non-CSVD group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in serum levels of Cys C between patients with lacunar infarction group and non-CSVD(P>0.05).The level of serum Cys C was higher in leukoaraiosis group than that in lacunar infarction group and brain atrophy group(P<0.05).4.Serum levels of Cys C showed a gradual upward trend in lacunar infarction group,brain atrophy group,lacunar infarction with leukoaraiosis group and leukoaraiosis group.Conclusion: 1.Elevated levels of serum Cys C is an independent risk factor for CSVD and can predict the risk of CSVD.2.In the CSVD subgroup,the serum level of Cys C was the highest in leukoaraiosis. |
