| ObjectiveTo observe the safety and effecancy of segmentectomy and lobectomy through video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS)for early staged non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).MethodsTotally 132 cases of IA phase NSCLC patients undergoing VATS segmentectomy or lobectomy were enrolled from October 2015 to September 2017,which were divided into two groups: segmentectomy through video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery group(segmentectomy group,n=65)and VATS lobectomy group(lobectomy group,n=67).The related perioperative parameters were compared between the two groups.ResultsThe surgical procedure of two groups were performed successfully, without perioperative death and transfer of thoracotomy. There were no significant differences in volume of intraoperative bleeding, total cost between two groups(P>0.05).However,there was a significant differencebetween the two groups in operative time, total postoperative drainage volume, antibiotic application time, postoperative hospitalization days,ICU stay time, chest drainage time and postoperative complication rate(P <0.05).ConclusionFor IA phase patients with NSCLC,both VATS segmentectomy and lobectomy are safe and reliable.Compared with VATS lobectomy,VATS segmentectomy can retain more healthy lung tissue, therefore leads to less trauma and faster postoperative recovery. |
