A Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Vascular Dementia (Deficiency Of Qi And Blood Syndrome) By Using Angelica Sinensis Decoction Of Supplementing Blood

Research ObjectiveTo study the efficacy and the safety of Angelica sinensis Decoction of supplementing blood on Vascular dementia(deficiency of qi and blood syndrome)by randomized controlled trial so that we can get clinical basis on treatment of Vascular dementia with Angelica sinensis Decoction of supplementing blood.Research MethodWe choose 114 patients who may meet our standards from Department of Neurology,Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as observed objects.Then we number them and divide them into treatment group and control group follow the DPS.Signing informed consent and ensure that they are willing to participate in the experimental study.There are 57 patients in treatment group,57 patients in control group.Patients in treatment group take Angelica sinensis Decoction of supplementing blood.Patients in control group take Donepezil hydrochloride.Donepezil hydrochloride should be taken for 12 weeks without withdrawal of medicine for hypertension and diabetes.After these treatment we may get result from the difference in MMSE、ADL、BBS.Research Results1.MMSE These two can both improve the MMSE of the patient(P<0.05).There are little differences in two groups especially in memory(P<0.05).The difference in cognitive function does not have statistical significance(P>0.05)2.ADL These two can both improve the ADL of the patient(P<0.05).There are little differences in two groups especially in wash ability(P<0.05).The difference in daily living ability does not have statistical significance(P>0.05)3.BBS These two can both improve the Blessed of the patient(P<0.05).There are little differences in two groups(P<0.05).The difference in daily social capacity does nothave statistical significance(P>0.05)4.SDSVD The total effective rate of the treatment group is 90.73% while it is60.00% in control group.There are significant differences in these two groups(P>0.05)and it have statistical significance.5.There are not obvious adverse reactions in both of them.Final ConclusionAngelica sinensis Decoction of supplementing blood have significant effects on MMSE、ADL、BBS of the patients with Vascular dementia eapecially in the scoring of memory and wash ability are better than Donepezil hydrochloride.The effects of Angelica sinensis Decoction of supplementing blood on cognitive function,daily living ability and daily social capacity are close to Donepezil hydrochloride.However,the Chinese medicine syndrome effect of it are better than that and it does not have obvious adverse reactions.
