As a famous traditional medicine,dragon's blood has been used by many cultures since ancient times.Modern research have proved that it possessed anti-inflammatory,analgesic,anti-dysentery,diarrhea,bleeding,ulcer,antibacterial and anti-tumor activities.Generally,the formation of dragon's blood in nature needs several years,and overexploitation of its natural sources may result in the extinction of its resource plants.Therefore,it is urgent to find a new way to produce substituents of dragon's blood artificially.In this paper,some compounds were isolated and identified from dragon's blood artificially,and their antitumor and antibacterial activities were evaluated.It is very important to compare dragon's blood artificially with dragon's blood.Thirty-three compounds were isolated from the EtOAc fraction of ethanol extract of dragon's blood artificially of D.cambodiana by column chromatography,and their structures were indentified by physicochemical and spectral data(UV,IR,MS,ID NMR,2D NMR)as 2,4,4'-trihydroxy-5'-methoxy-3-methydihydrochalcone(1),2,4,4'-trihydroxy-3-methydihyd rochalcone(2),(2S)-7,3'5 4'-trihydroxy-8-methylflavane(3),(2S)-7,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methox y-8-methylflavane(4),(2R)-4',7-dihydroxy-8-methylflavane(5),(2S)-4',57-dihydroxy-6,8-dim ethylflavane(6),(2R)-7,4'-dihydroxy-5-methoxy-8-methylflavane(7),(1)-7,4'-dihydroxy-3'-methoxyflavane(8),7,4-dihydroxyhomoisoflavane(9),4,2',4'-trihydroxychalcone(10),3,2',4'-trihydroxy-4-methoxychalcone(11),4,4'-dihydroxy-2'-methoxydihydrochalcone(12),5,7,4'-dihydroxy-4-methydihydrohomoisoflavone(13),7,4'-dihydroxydihydrohomoiso-flavone(14),7,3',4'-trihydroxydihydrohomoisoflavone(15),Cambodianal(16),7,4'-dihydroxyflavanone(17),pterostilbene(18),10-hydroxy-11-methoxy dracaenone C(19),10,11-dihydroxydracaen one C(20),(3E)-2,3-dihydro-7-hydroxy-3-[(3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-methylene]-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one,(21)7-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxyl benzylidene)chroman-4-one(22),Cambod ianin E(23),3,4-dihydroxyallylbenzene(24),3'-methoxy-8-methylsocotrin-4'-ol(25),4'-meth oxy-8-methylso-cotrin-3'-ol(26),8-methylsocotrin-4'-ol(27),4-(4,5-Dichloro-benzyloxy)-3,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde(28),pinoresinol(29),(25R)-spi-rost-5-ene-3?,17a-diol(30),?-daucosterol(31),stigmast-4-en-6?-ol-3-one(32),2'-Hydrox-ydecanylpentadec-5,8,10,12-te traenoate(33).Among them,compound 1,2 and 3 were new flavonoids.The antitumor activities of all the compounds in vitro were tested by MTT assay,and flavonoids 16 showed inhibitory activity towards chronic myelogenous leukemia(K562),human gastric carcinoma(SGC-7901),as well as human hepatoma(SMMC-7721)cell lines.The antimicrobial activities of all the compounds were examined by the filter paper disc agar diffusion method,and compounds 5,24 and 29 showed inhibitory activity towards Staphylococcus aureus,methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus MRSA and Candida albicans.Doing experiments about Ralstonia Solanacearum?F.oxysporum f.sp.Vasinfectum?F.oxysporum f.sp.Cuben.F.oxysporum f.sp.Niveum on all compounds.The result showed that the compound5?6?11?12?18?24?27 had inhibitory effect on Ralstonia Solanacearum?F.oxysporum f.sp.Vasinfectum?F.oxysporum f.sp.Cuben?F.oxysporum f.sp.Niveum and Verticillium dahlia Kleb.Thus,chalcones and flavanes were defined as the active compounds of artificially induced Dragon' s Blood of D.cambodiana.
