Sickness and death often occur is the normal state of life,,but the process of confronting and choosing death is constrained by various social factors.Compared with the natural death of the ancient society,the death of people in modern society is tightly entangled with instruments and instruments.With the development of modern medical concept and the popularization of medical technology,ICU ward has become an important place of death.Here,doctors,family members,patients,etc.,in turn perform trials of life,whether or not to treat,how to treat and other decisions "wrapped" people,this process has become a different decision-making participants cultural positions and power differences of a mirror.Based on the perspective of small group communication,this study used in-depth interviews,data analysis and social network analysis to interview the relatives of 22 patients with terminal diseases in the ICU ward.At the same time,analyze 110 true stories in the "Choice and Dignity" post.Finally,the social network analysis is carried out by synthesizing the above materials.The study found that older people,doctors,children,spouses and siblings were the main decision makers.In the communication stage,there is a flow of treatment decision-making power for patients with terminal life,in which children and doctors play an important role;economic,emotional,risk,awareness of the disease,And the pain and suffering will affect the family’s decision.Doctors are more concerned with risk than patients with a desire to survive and a sense of suffering.As for decision completion is a game process,from the acquisition of information,decision-making power flows between patients,family members and doctors.The equality of participation in decision-making roles affects the formation of opinion leaders.In the context of equal opportunity for individual participation in decision-making,communicative competence is the main reason for the separation of opinion leaders from groups.Under the situation of unequal opportunity of individual participation in decision-making,the relationship between individual and patient,blood relationship,economic ability,knowledge and skill,and prestige age are the key factors for opinion leaders to take shape.At the same time,in the discussion of treatment decision,the formation of opinion leader evolved from "opinion being followed" to "attitude being followed".
