Objective: Cancer is a disease that is difficult to cure in the world at present.It has the characteristics of high incidence and high mortality.It is increasingly threatening people's health.Therefore,finding new anticancer drugs is a difficult problem and challenge faced by pharmaceutical workers.From the perspective of drug research and development,natural products are important sources of new drugs and finding leading compounds,such as vincristine,Changchun ribin,hydroxycamptothecin,taxol and docetaxel,which are commonly used in clinical treatment.This shows that alkaloids are widely selective in antitumor therapy.Our previous studies have found that some two dimers of Erythrina alkaloids have significant antitumor activity;in order to search for the diversity of Erythrina alkaloids structure,to provide the material basis for the screening of biological activity,which belongs to the alkaloid constituents of plants to stimulate us to study Erythrina.Method: A variety of chromatographic separation techniques,such as silica gel,TLC,MPLC,HPLC and Sephadex LH-20,Separation and structural identification of compounds by combining physical data and modern spectral analytical method and the modern spectroscopic technique of MS and NMR.Results: Fifty-four compounds were isolated from Erythrina and their structures were identified.Twenty-six compounds were isolated from E.corallodendron and their structures were identified as 10-Oxo-erythrinine(1a),Erythraline N-oxide(2a),Erythriarborine(3a),8?-Acetatemethoxyerythrinine(4a),Erythrinine(5a),8-Oxoerythraline(6a),Erythraline(7a),10,11-Dioxoerythraline(8a),Erythriarborine(9a),11?-Hydroxyerythratine(10a),8-Oxoerythraline(11a),Erytharbine(12a),11?-Hydroxyerythratidine(13a),Epierythratidine(14a),Erysodine(15a),11-Hydroxyerysodine(16a),Erysovine(17a),Erysotrine(18a),Erythratine(19a),Erythristemine(20a),8?-Acetatemethoxyerysotrine(21a),(RS)-Norisoorientaline(22a),Norreticuline(23a),(S)-Reticuline(24a),Erybidine(25a),Hypaphorine(26a).The study reported the isolation and identification of two new Erythrina alkaloids,10-oxo-erythrinine,erythrinine N-oxide and 24(3a-26a)known compounds from E.corallodendron L..All compounds were first isolated from plants of E.corallodendron L..Twenty eight compounds were isolated from E.variegata L.and their structures were identified,Erythrivarine A(1b),Erythrivarine B(2b),Erytharbine(3b),Erythrocarine(4b),8-Oxo-erythraline(5b),8-Oxo-11?-methoxyerythraline(6b),Erythratine(7b),11-methoxyerythratine(8b),Epierythratine(9b),Erythraline N-oxide,(10b),11?-methoxyerythraline N-oxide(11b),11?-Hydroxyerythratinone(12b),Erysotrine N-oxide(13b),Erysodine(14b),8-oxoerythraline epoxide(15b)?Epierythratidine(16b),11?-Hydroxyerythratidine(17b),Erysotrine(18b),Erysotramidine(19b),8?-(2-Oxopropyl)-erysotrine(20b),Erythraline(21b),8?-Acetatemethoxyerythraline(22b),Erythrinine(23b),11?-Methoxyerythraline(24b),Erythriarborine(25b),8?-Carbomethoxyerythrinine(26b),8?-(2-Oxopropyl)-erythraline(27b),Cristanines B(28b).The study reported the isolation and identification of two new Erythrina alkaloid,Erythrivarine A(1b)and Erythrivarine B(2b);3b-10 b,12b-17 b,20b,25b-28 b are the first to be separated from the E.variegata L.;11b,18b-19 b,21b-24 b are known compounds from E.variegata L..Conclusion: The discovery of alkaloids in the new structure enriches the structure types of erythrina alkaloids and provides support for finding more novel structures.The determination of known structural alkaloids confirms that the same alkaloids can be found in different parts of the same species or the same parts of different plants.
