Objective:This study observed the clinical efficacy of herbs-separated umbilical moxibustion and routine acupuncture in the treatment of vertigo due to deficiency of Qi and blood,in order to provide better way for clinical treatment.Methods:Select 60 patients and divide them into two groups according to random number table(treatment group and control group),30 patients in each group.The treatment group were treated by herbs-seperated umbilical moxibustion,2 times a week,2-3 days at each interval,4 times for 1 courses,4 courses of continuous treatment.The control group were treated by routine acupuncture,1 times of acupuncture on the other day,7 times for 1 courses,4 courses of continuous treatment.After the treatment,the curative effect was observed.Symptom integral as the observation index,observing the change of symptom score in the two groups,and analyzing statistical significance.Results: 1.Total efficiency comparison of the two groups:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%;the control group was treated with conventional acupuncture,the total effective rate was 83.33%,P<0.05,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant.2.Comparison of two groups of total symptoms:The difference between the two groups was statistically significant,P<0.05,it suggested that the treatment group had a significant effect on improving the symptoms of vertigo due to deficiency of Qi and blood,and better than the control group.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of herbs-separated umbilical moxibustion on improving the symptoms of vertigo due to deficiency of Qi and blood is better than conventional acupuncture,meanwhile it is effective and simple,and has no side effects.It is worthy of clinical application.
