Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Chemotherapy-Related Thrombocytopenia With Ejiao Siwei Decoction

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of Ejiao Siwei Decoction combined with Ascending platelet capsule in the treatment of thrombocytopenia caused by chemotherapy for malignant tumor.Methods:A retrospective analysis of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Xinjiang Military Region General Hospital from October 2012to December 2018 by needle biopsy or postoperative pathology confirmed as malignant tumor,parallel with international standardized chemotherapy regimen and dose of chemotherapy after thrombocytopenia in 100 patients.According to the patient’s wishes and the condition of platelets,they were divided into three groups,of which 33 cases in group A were treated with Ejiao Siwei Decoction,and one dose per day in water was taken twice a day for 2 weeks;33 cases in group B were treated with Ascending platelet capsule,1800mg,three times a day;and 34 cases in group C were treated with Ejiao Siwei Decoction combined with Ascending platelet capsule,When the platelets rose above100×10~9/L,the drug was stopped,follow up for 2 weeks and evaluate the effect.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in platelet level between the three groups before treatment and on the third day after treatment(P>0.05).On the 7th day after treatment,the platelet level of group C was higher than that of group A(P<0.05).On the 10th day,the platelet level of group A was the lowest,compared with group B and C(P<0.05).On the14th day,the level of platelet in group C was the most significant,significantly higher than that of group A and B(P<0.05).The platelet level in group A was the lowest,with statistically significant difference compared with group B(P<0.05);(2)From the third day,the number of cases in which the platelets rebounded to normal in all three groups of patients.The platelet recovery peaked in group A on the 14th day(9 cases)and in group B and C on the 10th day(11 cases).The number of cases with platelet rebound to normal was C group>B group>A group,the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group B and group A and group C(P>0.05).There was significant difference between group A and group C on day 7 and day 10 and in the number of cases that did not return to normal(P<0.05);(3)Comparison of the effective rates of the three groups:the total effective rate(Markedly effective+effective)of group A was 72.7%,and that of group B was 81.8%.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);The total effective rate(Markedly effective+effective)of group C was the highest(97.1%).Compared with group A and group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.017);(4)There were no significant differences in WBC and HB levels between the three groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).However,with the prolongation of treatment time,the level of WBC and HB in the three groups increased slowly.It is suggested that the three regimens can stabilize the WBC and HB levels of patients;(5)There were mild adverse reactions in the three groups.The incidence of adverse reactions were 6.1%,9.1%,and 11.8%,respectively,with no significant difference(P>0.05).There was no significant abnormality in liver and kidney function and coagulation function before and after drug withdrawal in the three groups,and there was no significant difference among the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Ejiao Siwei Decoction combined with Ascending platelet capsule can effectively improve the platelet level of CIT patients,shorten the time of platelet recovery,improve the quality of life of patients.The overall effect is better than the single drug group,with low price and high safety,which is worthy of further research and clinical application.
