Objectives: Analyze and compare the effects of oxygen atomized humidification at different intervals on airway humidification in non-mechanical tracheostomy patients to provide a basis for clinical nurses to establish a reasonable airway humidification program. Methods: With convenience sampling,120 patients with non-mechanical ventilation admitted to the SICU in the Anhui Wanbei Coal and Electricity Group General Hospital from January 2016 to June 2016 were randomly divided into four groups of 30 patients. The amount of oxygen atomization performed was as follows: group A(8 ml/h continuous atomization),group B(1 hour plus atomization once,8 ml/time),group C(2 hours plus atomization once,8 ml/times),group D(4 hours plus atomized liquid once,8ml/times),and four groups of humidification solution are all made of 0.45% sodium chloride solution. The main evaluation criteria included the patient’s respiration, heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, sputum formation, humidification, airway mucosal bleeding, irritating cough, and sputum viscosity. Results: 1.Basic information of four groups of patientsThere was no significant difference in gender, age, disease type, tracheotomy time, acute physiology and chronic health score system II among the four groups(P>0.05).2.Comparison of oxygen partial pressure, respiration, heart rate and oxygen saturation in four groups of patients.Oxygen partial pressure, respiration, heart rate and oxygen saturation in the four groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group C and group B(P>0.05).The difference between group C and group A was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between group C and group D was statistically significant(P<0.05).PaO2 and SaO2 were significantly higher in group C,and RR and HR were significantly slower.3.Comparison of the incidence and moisturizing effect of caries formation in four groups of patients. The incidence of sputum formation in group A,group B,group C,and group D was 1.33%,3.33%,13.33%,and 30.00%,respectively.The difference between the four groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group C and group B(P>0.05).The differences between group C and group A,group C and group D were statistically significant(P<0.05).The satisfaction rate of humidification in group B and C was significantly higher than that in group A and D(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between group C and group B(P>0.05).4.Comparison of Airway Mucosal Hemorrhage and Irritation Cough in Four Groups of Patients. There was a statistically significant difference in airway mucosal bleeding and irritative cough between the four groups(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between C and B groups(P>0.05).The differences between group C and group A,group C and group D were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with group D,the incidence of airway mucosal bleeding and irritating cough in group B and C was significantly reduced(P<0.05).5.Comparison of viscous degree of sputum in four groups of patientsThere was a statistically significant difference in the viscous degree of the sputum of the four groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the C group and the B group(P>0.05).The differences between group C and group A,group C and group D were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions: 1.Airway humidification at 8ml once every 2 hours in patient’s respiratory, heart rate, oxygen saturation, sputum formation rate, moisturizing effect, airway mucosal bleeding, irritant cough, sputum viscosity better than continuous humidification and atomized humidification for 4 hours.2.Airway humidification at 8ml every 2 hours and every 1 hour for oxygenation in the patient’s heart rate, respiration, oxygen saturation, partial pressure of oxygen, incidence of sputum formation, moisturizing effect, airway mucosal bleeding, irritation There was no statistically significant difference in the cough and sputum viscosity, but it was better to atomize once every 2 hours from the saving of nursing time.
