Clinical Observation Of Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction Combined With Fire Acupuncture In Treating Plaque Psoriasis(blood Stasis Syndrome)

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy,safety and recurrence of Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with fire needle in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome).Methods: 93 patients with psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome)who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into three groups: treatment group,control group A and control group B,with 31 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with fire needle therapy,the control group A was treated with Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction alone,and the control group B was treated with fire needle alone.Chinese medicine is taken orally once dose per day,twice per day,warm after breakfast and dinner.Fire needle therapy was given once a week.The above treatment lasted for 2 weeks as a course of treatment,with a total of 4 weeks.Before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment,three indexes of psoriasis lesion area and severity(PASI),TCM syndrome score and dermatosis quality of life index(DLQI)score were evaluated respectively.The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of treatment group,control group A and control group B were evaluated.Three months after the completion of treatment,the three groups were followed up to understand the relapse situation.The collected data were analyzed by SPSS22.0 software.Results:(1)General results: There was no significant difference in gender,age and course of disease among the three groups,P>0.05,which was comparable.(2)Score comparison results:(1)The PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score of psoriasis were compared before and after treatment for 2 weeks,before and after treatment for 4 weeks,and after treatment for 2 weeks and 4 weeks.The PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score of psoriasis were lower than before,P<0.05,with significant difference.(2)Two weeks after treatment,there shows meanless difference in PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score between the three groups,P>0.05.(3)After 4 weeks of treatment,the PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score of psoriasis in the three groups were better in the treatment group than those in the control group A and B,P<0.05,the difference was significant;shows up no difference between the control group A and B,P>0.05.(3)Clinical efficacy results: when finished 2 weeks of treatment,it shows treatment group’s total effective rate(38.70%),control group A(35.48%)and control group B(32.26%)was not different,P>0.05.When finished 4 weeks of treatment,treatment group’s total effective rate(90.32%)was higher than that of control group A(70.97%)and control group B(67.74%),P<0.05,the difference was significant.(4)Adverse reactions:Blood and urine routine,liver and kidney function were not abnormal before and after treatment in the three groups.In the course of treatment,there were fewer adverse reactions in the three groups,P>0.05,the difference was meanless.(5)Follow-up results: 3 months after finishing the treatment,three groups of patients were called on.That shows the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group A and B,P<0.05,the difference was mean.Conclusion: Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with fire needlecan effectively reduce PASI score,TCM syndrome score and DLQI score in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome).Its clinical efficacy is better than that of oral Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction alone and fire needle alone.It highlights the advantages of internal and external combination of TCM in the treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome).Therefore,Modified Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction combined with fire needle treatment of psoriasis vulgaris(blood stasis syndrome)has the advantages of significant effect,high safety and low recurrence.
