Treatment Of Sudden Deafness By Foot Fumigation With Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Study On Deficiency Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of foot fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine on sudden deafness with deficiency of Qi and blood.Methods: Seventy-two patients from December 2017 to January 2019 in the Otolaryngology Clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were randomly divided into two groups,treatment group and control group,36 cases in each group.The treatment group(group A): Chinese medicine foot fumigation combined with oral Chinese medicine,while giving Shenxiong glucose injection intravenous drip treatment.Control group(group B): Oral Chinese medicine and intravenous drip of Shenxiong Glucose Injection.The two groups were treated with the above methods for 7 days,and the changes of clinical symptoms were observed after treatment.The results of data and information were recorded in detail,and then statistical analysis was carried out.All data were analyzed by SPSS19.0 software.Result:1 Of the 72 patients who met the criteria in this experiment,28 were male(38.9%)and 44 were female(61.1%),p=0.405.The age of the treatment group was 33.03±10.04 years,and that of the control group was 34.33±9.09 years.The mean standard deviation test showed that the P value was 0.079.There was no significant difference in sex and age between the two groups(P > 0.05).It is suggested that there is no correlation between the onset of sudden deafness with deficiency of Qi and blood and sex and age in this clinical study.2 No drop-out and no accident occurred in 72 patients who met the criteria of this clinical study.Through scientific analysis and evaluation of this study,the total effective rate of accompanying symptoms in the two groups was 83.33% in the treatment group,which was higher than 50.00% in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).After treatment,statistical analysis and calculation of the curative effect data of the main accompanying symptoms showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P < 0.05 compared with before treatment,P < 0.05;P < 0.05 compared with the control group).It is suggested that the therapeutic effect of foot fumigation with traditional Chinese medicine is higher than that of the control group.3 In the improvement of hearing,the total effective rate of the two groups were 69.4%.Statistical analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group,and the effect was not obvious.Conclusion: Foot fumigation therapy with traditional Chinese medicine can effectively improve the accompanying symptoms of sudden deafness,such as tinnitus,ear tightness,dizziness,anxiety,insomnia(Qi-blood deficiency syndrome),and the effect is outstanding.
