Cerebral Palsy(CP)is a persistent group of motor and postural developmental disorders that result in limited mobility. This syndrome is caused by non-progressive brain damage to a developing fetus or infant.Modern medicine for the treatment of the disease mainly method is based on traditional Chinese and western medicine combined with comprehensive rehabilitation, such as function training, occupational therapy, medication, surgery, physical therapy, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, etc, has achieved a certain degree of efficacy. However, with the growth of children, with the growth of age, clinical symptoms are becoming more and more serious, which has a serious impact on children’s daily life ability and quality of life. The basic structure of upper limb motor function is mainly hand, wrist, elbow, forearm and shoulder. As long as these parts are coordinated, the normal movement of upper limbs can be realized. And the normal movement of upper limbs is the basis of fine movement such as eating, dressing and washing The most typical upper limb dysfunction in children with spastic cerebral anesthesia is the limited micro-movement of the hand. The failure of control, palm, touch and dynamic operation has a serious impact on children’s daily activities. In addition, upper limbs also play an important role in large-scale exercises such as acupuncture, balance reaction and protective reaction. At present, there are few treatments for upper limb dysfunction, and how to effectively solve this problem is the direction of our efforts. Objective To observe the efficacy of wrist-ankle acupuncture in the treatment of upper limb dysfunction in children with spastic cerebral palsy. Methods 60 children with spastic cerebral palsy with upper limb dysfunction who were hospitalized in the pediatric rehabilitation department of the first affiliated hospital of xinxiang medical college from January 2016 to December 2018 were selected as the research objects.According to the random number table, they were randomly divided into the wrist and ankle acupuncture group and the traditional acupuncture group, with 30 cases in each group.Wrist-ankle acupuncture group: wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with conventional Chinese and western medicine cerebral palsy rehabilitation treatment.Traditional acupuncture group: traditional acupuncture therapy combined with conventional Chinese and western medicine cerebral palsy rehabilitation treatment. The modified Ashworth spasm scale(MAS)score and Peabody motor development scale(PDMS)score were used to judge the treatment effect of wrist and ankle on upper limb dysfunction in children with spastic cerebral palsy before the start of the experiment and three courses of treatment respectively.SPSS22.0 was used for data analysis. Results 1.There was no significant difference in gender between the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the traditional acupuncture group(P>0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in three age stages(P>0.05); 2.There was no significant difference in the modified Ashworth spasm scale(MAS)score between the wrist-ankle acupuncture group and the traditional acupuncture group before treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05); 3.There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups of Peabody motor development scale(PDMS)in grasping and visual-motor integration scores between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05); 4.Wrist ankle needle group after treatment in Peabody developmental scale(PDMS)grip and visual-motion integration score, before a group therapy has improved, with statistical significance(P<0.05),the traditional acupuncture group after treatment of Peabody motor scale(PDMS)grip and visual-motion integration scores compared with before treatment there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05);5.Compared with the traditional acupuncture group, the differences in the PDMS scores of the wrist and ankle acupuncture group were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion 1.Both wrist-ankle acupuncture and traditional acupuncture can effectively reduce the muscle tension of the upper limbs of children with cerebral palsy, and the effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture may be better than that of traditional acupuncture. 2.The grasping and visual-motor integration scores of wrist and ankle acupuncture in the motor development scale of Peabody children with cerebral palsy may be better than the traditional acupuncture treatment. It may be more effective in improving the fine motor skills of children’s hands. 3.This treatment method is safe, effective and easy to promote.
