| ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy and sa fety of Dangguisini Decoction combined with Niuyu powder in treating of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropethy caused by cold coagulation and blood stasis,and to provide reference for the treatment of type 2 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy wi th t raditional Chinese medicine.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria,100 patients who met the diagnostic criteria for type 2 Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and whose TCM syndrome was cold coagulation and blood stasis were selected.They were divided into two groups wi th 50 cases in each group using a prospective,randomized,single-bl ind control test.In the control group with the ordinary Hypoglycemic therapy and give the placebo and the treatment group with the Dangguisini Formulaon combined with Niuyusan stick to the Taichong and Geshu Acupuncture poi nts.Cl inical observation after 3 months,the two groups of patients before and after treatment of traditional Chinese medicine symptom integral,MNSI integral rate,and watch the level of FBG,2hPBG,HbA1c,and nerve conduction velocity after treatment.Using SPSS statistical software for statical analysis,and objectively evaluating its clinical efficoncy and safety.ResultsA total of 100 patients were included in this study.During the study,5 patients in the control group and the reference group fell off,and a total of 90 patients complotod the experiment.Effects on blood sugar level:after treatment,two groups of patients of FBG,2hPG and HbAlc there was no significant diff’erence(P>0.05),shows that the Dangguisini Formula and NiuYu San acupoint sticking therapy does not have hypoglycemic effect,which means that it is independent of the hypoglycemic effect to improve the peripheral neuropathy.Effect on TCM symptom scores:Both groups of patients improved the TCM symptoms in different degrees after treatment,but the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).In terms of single symptom improvement,the treatment group was superior to the control group in the improvement of limb pain and limb cooling and limb hypoesthesia(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the control group was 66.7%,and that of the treatment group was 86.7%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).The results showed that the effect of acupoint application of Dangguisini Formula and Niuyu powder on improving TCM symptoms was significantly better than that of the control group.Effects on MNSI scores:MNSI scores decreased in both groups af’ter treatment,with a total effective rate of 75.6%in the control group and 91.1%in the treatment group.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Influence on nerve conduction velocity:after the treatment,two groups of patients with Shallow Leg nerve and Sural nerve conduction velocity has no obvious change(P>0.05),explain that the nerve conduction velocity has no obvious improvement in a short period of time,but also has no obvious slow nerve conduction velocity.But in the other aspecet,it Jneans that can be control led in a certain extent,and delay the development of diabetic peripheral neuropathy.Adverse reactions:no obvic)us adverse reactions were observed during the treatment.ConclusionAfter 3 months of clinical trials,the results showed that this internal and external combined treatment method of Dangguisini Formula and Niuyu San acupoint application had a significant effect on DPN of cold coagulation and blood stasis type.It can significantly reduce the TCM symptom scores and MNSI score.It has no obvious effect on glucose metabolism,indicating that it is an independent treatment for DPN.Although there was no significant therapeutic effect on nerve conduet ion ve loci ty,the nerve conduction velocity did not slow down further,indicating that it can delay the progress of DPN.Its safety and curative effect are worthy of further promotion,suggesting that TCM combined internal and external therapy is an effective method for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy. |
