Observation On The Curative Effect Of Wenbi Decoction Combined With Traditional Chinese Medicine Foot Bath In Treating Yang Deficiency And Cold Coagulation Syndrome Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of wenbi decoction combined with TCM external washing on diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)patients with Yang deficiency and cold coagulation syndrome.Methods: From August 2020 to October 2021,68 patients with type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy with Yang deficiency and cold coagulation syndrome in the outpatient department of Endocrinology of Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into two equal groups,and their blood glucose and blood lipids were controlled to be stable.Control group took mecobalamin tablets orally 3 times a day(0.5 mg/ time);On the basis of the control group,the treatment group was given self-designed Wenbi decoction twice in the morning and evening.Chinese medicine external wash bipedal treatment,once a day,before bed foot bath.1 month for a course of treatment,three courses of continuous treatment.Observed and recorded before and after treatment in patients with blood sugar(fasting and postprandial 2 hours),blood lipid(total cholesterol,triglycerides,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol),glycosylated hemoglobin,TCM syndrome integral,Toronto clinical scoring system(TCSS),nerve conduction velocity(NCV)of the changes and clinical curative effect,At the same time,patients were observed for obvious adverse reactions,liver and kidney function,blood routine and other safety indicators were recorded.SPSS 24.0 software was used for data entry analysis.Results:1.There were 4 cases in the treatment group and 4 cases in the control group,and 60 cases were finally completed.2.After treatment,the two groups of patients improved,the curative effect of the control group was 63.33%,the curative effect of the treatment group was 86.67%,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.The scores of TCM syndromes in both groups were improved,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.01),specifically in relieving numbness of limbs and fatigue.4.Toronto Clinical System score(TCSS)in both groups decreased after treatment,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating similar efficacy.5.NCV in both groups was improved compared with before treatment.In motor nerve,the efficacy of the two groups was similar(P>0.05).In sensory nerve,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).6.Blood glucose,blood lipids and hba1 c were improved in 2 groups,but there was no statistical significance(P>0.05),and the efficacy was similar.7.During the treatment,the basic vital signs,blood routine,liver and kidney function and other safety indicators of patients in the two groups were within the normal range,and there were no allergic and other adverse reactions.Conclusion: Wenbi Decoction combined with TCM foot bath can better relieve limb numbness and fatigue and improve sensory nerve conduction velocity in DPN patients with cold coagulation syndrome of Yang deficiency,and has no obvious toxic and side effects,which is worthy of further clinical research and promotion.
