ObjectiveTo explore the effects of telephone follow-up to postpartum depression,social support levels,and maternal role adaptation.To provide a theoretical basis for the promotion of telephone follow-up and intervention with postpartum depression.MethodsSelected 120 primitive women delivering in a hospital in Wu Han from April 2018 to June 2018,and allocated them randomly to two groups:intervention group(60 cases),control group(60 cases).The control group received regular discharge guidance and one time telephone follow-upthe.The intervention group conducted telephone follow-up on primipara and family supporters on the basis of routine care.From 1 week postpartum,maternal and family supporters were followed up for intervention,once a week,3 times each,6 times in total,continued until 6 weeks postpartum.The two groups of women were assessed on the day of discharge,2 weeks postpartum and 4 weeks postpartum using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale and Social Support Scale.And were surveyed using the Mother Role Adaptation Scale at 6 weeks postpartum.On the day of discharge,the two groups of women completed the general situation questionnaire,the Edinburgh Depression Scale,and the Social Support Scale.The Edinburgh Postpartum Depression Scale was completed in the second and fourth weeks after delivery,and the Edinburgh Depression Scale,Social Support Scale and Mother role adaptation scale were filled 6 weeks after birth.Result(1)Depressive condition of primiparas:After 2 weeks postpartum,the incidence of depression and depression socres of the control group and the intervention group were 19.6% VS 8.8%(P>0.05)and 9.02±3.22 VS 8.90±2.91(P>0.05),and there was no significance difference in two groups.After 4 weeks postpartum,the incidence of depression and depression socres of the control group and the intervention group were 23.2% vs 8.8%(P<0.05)and 9.14 ± 3.81 VS 7.98±3.09(P<0.05),and there was significance difference in two groups.After 6 weeks postpartum,the incidence of depression and depression socres of the control group and the intervention group were25.0% vs 10.5%(P<0.05)and 8.82±4.77 VS 7.07±3.80(P<0.05),there was significance difference in two groups.(2)Social support status of primipara women:The total social support scores of the two groups were 41.66±6.57 VS 42.70±4.95(P<0.05),and there was significance difference in two groups.The subjective support scores of the intervention group were high among the dimensions.In the control group,24.23±5.28 VS 22.40±3.851(P<0.05),there was significance difference in two groups.(3)Adaptation of primipara mothers:The maternal role socres of the two groups in the 6 weeks postpartum was 62.18±7.42 VS 64.42±5.28(P<0.05),there was significance difference in two groups.Comparing the maternal role adaptation degree,P<0.05,there was significance difference in two groups.Conclusion(1)Telephone follow-up of primipara and family supporters can improve maternal social support and promote the adaptability of primipara mothers.(2)Telephone follow-up of primipara and family supporters can reduce the incidence of postpartum depression.(3)Telephone follow-up of primipara and family supporters can promote the adaptability of primipara mothers.
