The Research Of The Post-Traumatic Growth Level And Its Influencing Factors In Spouses Of Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction

Objective1.This research aims to describe the level of posttraumatic growth of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction,2.To explore the influencing factors of posttraumatic growth of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction.Methods1.The method of convenient sampling was used to select 172 spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction from two hospitals in Wuhan from May 2017 to December2017.The general information questionnaire,the marital satisfaction scale form OLSON marital quality questionnaire,perceived social support scale,simple coping style questionnaire,simplified Chinese version of event-related rumination thinking questionnaire and simplified Chinese version of post-traumatic growth rating scale were applied as the measurement tools to analyze the influencing factors of the spouses of patients with posttraumatic growth.2.Under the guidance of phenomenological method,11 cases with higher scores of post-traumatic growth were interviewed by semi-structured interview.The data were sorted and analyzed by Colaizzi's 7-step analysis and qualitative analysis software NVivo11.0.The post-traumatic growth experience of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction was explored.Results1.The posttraumatic growth score of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction was 66.31±13.84).For the five dimensions of scale,according to the dimension of entry average scores from high to low,scores are: the enhancement of personal strength(3.52 ± 0.82),the appreciation of life(3.48 ± 0.69),the improvement of interpersonal relationship(3.38±0.89),the new possibility(3.33±0.90),and the mental change(2.86±0.79).2.The analysis of the post-trauma growth factors of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction were performed with multiple linear regression analysis.The results showed that the age,gender,perceived social support,event related to meditation of spouses of patients were the main factors that affected posttraumatic growth,which explained 49.0%of the variance of data.These results also indicated that the spouses with younger age,higher level of social support and more event-related meditation,had higher posttraumatic growth scores.3.The post-trauma growth experience of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction mainly included:(1)the new philosophy of life(focus on health,cherish life,changing the order of important affairs in life,self-adjustment);(2)great personal power(self-accomplishment enhancement and self-dependent enhancement);(3)improvement of social connection(more intimate relationship in the family,perceived benefit,interpersonal empathy and altruistic awareness).Conclusion1.The posttraumatic growth of spouses of the patients with acute myocardial infarction is at a moderate level.The age,gender,social support level and event-related meditation are the main factors that influence the posttraumatic growth of the spouses of the patients with acute myocardial infarction.2.The posttraumatic growth of spouses of patients with acute myocardial infarction is mainly manifested in the improvement of life philosophy,personal strength and social connection.
