Objective: The effect and safety of Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemotherapy(HIPEC)in the treatment of epithelial Ovarian Cancer(EOC)still keep controversial,to systematically review the effects of combination of HIPEC and CRS for epithelial ovarian cancer and provide evidence for clinical application. Methods: CNKI、WanFang、CBM、PubMed 、Embase、The Cochrane Library、void-Medline、Web of science and other correlative databases were searched online to collect clinical control studies on Overall Survival(OS)、Disease Free Survival(DFS)and serious adverse effects. Results: In all 17 studies containing 1569 patients. The outcome of meta-analysis demonstrates that: there is a statistical significance on Overall Survival(OS)(HR=0.59,95%CI 0.50~0.71,P<0.05)and Disease Free Survival(DFS)(HR=0.61,95%CI 0.52~0.72,P<0.05),and don’tincrease in the incidence of serious adverse effects(P>0.05).Conclusion : Exisiting evidence shows that the incorporation of HIPEC and CRS is a protective factor for epithelial Ovarian Cancerpatients. The union, including the duration of hyperthermic chemotherapy for 90 min,may prolong life and don’t increase in the incidence of serious adverse effects. However, type of drugs for perfusion、the number of drugs, the average dose of drugs、the dose per body surface area、the optimal control temperature and the prevention and treatment of adverse reactions should be further explored with more support of randomized controlled trials.
