Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Depression Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Heart And Spleen By Combined Routine Acupuncture And Warming Needle Moxibustion At Xinshu And Pishu

Objective: By observing the therapeutic effect of warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)for the treatment of mild to moderate depression with deficiency of both heart and spleen.In order to provide new methods for clinical treatment of mild and moderate depression with deficiency of both heart and spleen.Methods: Sixty depressive Patients who met the criteria of this study were admitted to the Five Departments of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2018,the Patients were randomly divided into exprimental group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture methods.GV 20(Baihui),GV 29(Yintang),HT 7(Shenmen),LR 3(Taichong),PC 6(Neiguan),CV 17(Danzhong),BL15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)were selected as acupuncture Points.The experimental group was treated with warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)Points on the basis of traditional acupuncture.After 4 weeks of treatment,analyzed the changes of two scales and the improvement of clinical symptoms were observed before and after treatment with SPSS 22.0.Result:1.The scores of Hamilton Depression Scale in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(p > 0.05),but there was difference between the two groups after treatment(p < 0.05).It showed that warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)were better than routine needling in improving HAMD scores in patients with depression syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen.2.The scores of Self-rating Depression Scale in the two groups werelower than those before treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(p > 0.05),but there was difference between the two groups after treatment(p < 0.05).It showed that warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)were better than routine needling in improving SDS scores in patients with depression syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen.3.The scores of TCM Syndrome in the two groups were lower than those before treatment,and there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(p > 0.05),but there was difference between the two groups after treatment(p < 0.05).It showed that warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)were better than routine needling in improving TCM Syndrome scores in patients with depression syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen.4.The total effective rate was 93.3% in the treatment group and 80% in the control group.There was statistical significance in the total effective rate between the two groups(p < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Routine acupuncture and routine acupuncture combined with warming needle moxibustion at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)have significant effects on improving HAMD,SDS and TCM syndrome scores of depression patients with deficiency of both heart and spleen.2.The curative effect of routine acupuncture combined with warming needling at BL 15(Xinshu)and BL 20(Pishu)is better than that of routine needling.It is an effective method for treating depression syndrome of deficiency of both heart and spleen.It is worth popularizing because it’s simple and feasible.
