Research On The Market-oriented Reform Of Drug Prices In China

Drugs are indispensable in human life and play an important role in maintaining people’s health.In recent years,the problem of excessive growth of medical expenses in China has become increasingly prominent,the most obvious is that the rising speed of drug prices is far higher than that of general commodities.Drug prices have become the focus of social media,and are more concerned by people.Although the Chinese government has been committed to the control of drug prices for a long time,and has played a positive role in the control of drug prices in a certain period of time,with the change of pharmaceutical market environment,it has not effectively solved the problem of unreasonable drug prices,but caused the government to control drug prices failure.At present,the drug price management in China has been liberalized,and the actual transaction price of drugs is mainly formed by market competition.This is undoubtedly a major reform in the formation mechanism of drug prices,which means that drug prices will make more use of market mechanisms to achieve real value.Therefore,we should study the mechanism of drug price formation,adjust the benefit distribution among pharmaceutical enterprises,medical institutions,patients and governments through price leverage,and achieve the goal that drug price can truly reflect its value.In this paper,the formation mechanism of drug price is taken as the research object.Firstly,the particularity of drug,drug price and drug market is analyzed.Using the theory of value and price,the formation mechanism of market price,the mechanism of government control price and the theory of pharmacoeconomics,the formation mechanism of drug price is systematically analyzed and studied.Secondly,it introduces the overview of drug price management in China,including the development process of drug price management in China,the policy and current situation of drug price reform in China,including the main contents of the reform and the problems faced by drug price reform in China.Then it analyzes the foreign drug price management mode,mainly introduces the drug price management institutions in developed countries,drug collection and payment price formulation process,and drug payment price pricing principles.In order to provide a reference for the formation mechanism of drug price in China,we summarize the drug price management models in these countries.Thirdly,it analyzes the influencing factors of the formation of drug price in China,including the elements of drug price,the influencing factors of drug price,drug pricing method and pricing model.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the market-oriented reform of drug prices in China,and to establish a reasonable drug price formation mechanism,which requires the comprehensive use of government control and market mechanism for reform.Through the connection of top-level design and operation level,it respectively puts forward specific and feasible suggestions on how to improve the drug market price mechanism.
