Clinical Study On Guichen Xuanhua Decoction In Treating Stagnation And Stasis Syndrome Of Acute Ischemic Stroke

Objective: To observe the clinical tudy on Guichen Xuanhua Decoction in treating stagnation and stasis syndrome of acute ischemic stroke and its effect on plasma Hcy,provide a basis to clinical application.Methods: 60 cases of patients with ischemic stroke that met the Chinese and Western medicine diagnostic criteria and were treated in the inpatient department of the first department of encephalopathy of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the area of encephalopathy from February2019 to October 2019 were selected,and the patients were randomized by random number method divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the treatment group was treated with Guichen Xuanhua Decoction on the basis of conventional treatment,both groups took 2 weeks as a course of treatment.Observe changes in TCM syndrome scores,modified Rankin score,neurological deficit score(NIHSS),daily living activity score(ADL),plasma homocysteine(Hcy)levels before and after treatment in the two groups of patients,and assess its clinical efficacy.Results:(1)Clinical effect: After 2 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the control group was 75.0%,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.3%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than the control group.(2)Phlegm and blood stasis obstructive TCM symptom grading quantitative score: Compared with before and after treatment,the scale score of the two groups was significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that both groups of drugs can improve the TCM symptom score of patients with ischemic stroke.Treatment compared with the control group,the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)Modified Rankin Scale(Modified Rankin Scale): Both groups can improve the Rankin score of patients with ischemic stroke after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group after treatment,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)NIHSS Score: After treatment,both groups can improve the NIHSS score of patients with ischemic stroke(P<0.05).Compared with the control group,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).(5)Daily life ability scale(ADL): Both groups can improve the ADL score of patients with ischemic stroke after treatment(P<0.05).Compared with the control group after treatment,the treatment group is better than the control group(P<0.05).(6)Plasma homocysteine(Hcy)levels: Plasma Hcy levels were lower in the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),compared with the control group,plasma Hcy levels in the treatment group were significantly reduced(P<0.05),the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Guichen Xuanhua Decoction has a good clinical effect in treating patients with acute ischemic stroke(syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis blocking collaterals).It can significantly improve the TCM syndrome score and disability level of patients,promote the recovery of neurological defects,and improve the ability of daily living activities of patients.Its mechanism may be related to the reduction of Hcy level.
