| Objective:to study the clinical effect of modified treatment Metal-Clearing Phlegm-Transforming decoction on the acute attack of chronic bronchitis in the elderly(phlegm-heat lying depressed in the lung syndrome),to improve the TCM syndrome,safety and the effect on PA and CRP.Metods:a total of 72 patients with chronic bronchitis(phlegm-heat lying depressed in the lung syndrome)in the elderly in the acute episode meeting the inclusion criteria were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the random number table method,with 36 cases in each control group and the treatment group,and 33 cases in the final control group.The control group was treated by western medicine.On the basis of treatment in the treatment group and the control group,a dose of modified treatment Metal-Clearing Phlegm-Transforming decoction was taken every day,450 ml,three times a day,150 ml each time.Clinical indicators to be observed were recorded before and after treatment,and the efficacy was finally determined by statistical methods.Results:(1)the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was generally better than that of the control group(P < 0.01).(2)comparison of total score of TCM syndromes: both groups could improve the total score of TCM syndromes(P < 0.01),but the treatment group had significantly better effect in improving the total score of TCM syndromes(P < 0.01).(3)comparison of scores of single syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine:comparison within the group: the control group had significant effects on improving cough and fever(P < 0.01),and significant effects on improving sputum volume,wheeding,dry and wet rale,and X-ray chest radiograph(P < 0.05).There was no statistical difference in improving chest and rib fullness,red face,and dry mouth(P>0.05).The treatment group could significantly improve cough,sputum volume,wheezing,chest and rib fullness,dry mouth desire,dry and wet rales,X-ray(P <0.01).The curative effect on improving fever and red face was significant P<0.05.Comparison between the two groups: there was no significant difference in the improvement of fever symptoms between the two groups(P>0.05).The treatment group was more effective than the control group in improving sputum volume,wheezing,dry and wet rales,and X-ray chest radiograph(P < 0.05).(4)comparison of PA: the control group increased PA after drug treatment(P <0.05);PA was significantly increased in the treatment group(P<0.01),and the effect was better in the treatment group(P<0.01).(5)c-reactive protein: intra-group comparison: P < 0.05 in the control group,indicating that the drugs in the control group could reduce c-reactive protein;P < 0.01 in the treatment group indicated that the c-reactive protein could be significantly reduced in the treatment group.Comparison between groups: the results before treatment were P>0.05,and the results after treatment were P<0.05,indicating that the treatment group had better effect in reducing c-reactive protein.(6)WBC comparison: the two groups had no obvious effect on the index(7)no obvious abnormalities were found in blood,urine,stool routine and electrocardiogram of the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).(8)no adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the treatment.Conclusion: modified treatment Metal-Clearing Phlegm-Transforming Decoction on senile chronic bronchitis acute phase(thermal yu lung phlegm)has good clinical effect,treatment can effectively increase serum prealbumin,can effectively reduce c-reactive protein,can effectively reduce the white blood cells,and to improve patients with cough,phlegm,wheezing,chest rib swelling in,face red,dry mouth,curative effect is distinct,and then to improve the dry and wet sound,X-ray chest radiograph is effective,its safety performance is guaranteed,can improve the cure rate and effective rate and reduce the hospitalization days,high clinical application value. |
