Objective:To observe the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection in the treatment of early and middle stage knee osteoarthritis(wind cold dampness Bi type),and to analyze and evaluate the clinical significance and mechanism of combined treatment of traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on knee osteoarthritis according to the results of relevant research records。Methods:From January 2019 to December 2019,60 patients with KOA who went to the orthopedic department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine were randomly divided into control group and observation group according to the clinical trial design criteria. The gender and age of the two groups were analyzed to exclude the differences. The control group was given sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection and glucosamine hydrochloride oral, the observation group was given traditional Chinese medicine and sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection, the course of treatment was 5 weeks, the control group and the observation group were added a compound betamethasone in the first treatment, the last4 times were not added. Before treatment, after the first treatment, and after the sixth week of follow-up,the pain symptoms and functional improvement of knee joint were statistically analyzed。Result:1.There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between the two groups in terms of gender, age,VAS pain score and WOMAC osteoarthritis index before treatment.2.After a course of systematic treatment, the VAS score of the knee joint of the two groups was compared with that before treatment, and the difference was significant(P <0.01),indicating that the two treatment schemes can improve the knee joint pain ofKOA patients. After the treatment, the VAS score of the observation group was compared with that of the control group, and the result was P < 0.05,which showed that the long-term effect of the observation group on the inhibition of knee osteoarthritis was more significant than that of the control group.3.After a course of systematic treatment, the WOMAC Osteoarthritis Index of the two groups was compared with that before treatment, and the difference was significant(P <0.01),indicating that the two treatment schemes had a good effect in improving the knee joint activity function of KOA patients in the early and middle stage. After the treatment, the WOMAC Osteoarthritis Index of the observation group was compared with that of the control group, and the result was P < 0.05,indicating that the observation group was better than the control group in improving the knee joint activity function of KOA patients in the long term.4.After a course of treatment,The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the recovery rate and the effective rate were higher than that of the control group. Conclusion: Based on the idea of "treating the disease before treatment",the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(wind cold dampness arthralgia type)with traditional Chinese medicine and sodium hyaluronate intra-articular injection has a good effect. The patients’ knee pain and joint activity function have a good improvement, the effect is significant, safe and effective,no obvious adverse reactions, easy to be accepted by patients, and it is worth clinical application.
