Clinical Research Of Electro-acupuncture Combined With Cupping To Treat Syndrome Of Dampness Stagnancy Due To Spleen Deficiency Of Simple Obesity Complicated With Hyperlipidemia

objective The main purpose was to observe the difference of clinical efficacy between electro-acupuncture combined with cupping and electro-acupuncture alone in the treatment of syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency of simple obesity complicated with hyperlipidemia.Second,it is to compare the clinical of two in regulating the obesity indexes(BW、BMI、WC、F%)、blood-lipid(TC、TG、LDL-C、HDL-C)and clinical symptoms of traditional chinese medicine(TCM)in patients,to further explore the clinical advantages of electro-acupuncture combined with cupping in curing this disease,and also to offer fundamental basis for the application of clinical treatment.Method In this study,76 patients with syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency of simple obesity complicated with hyperlipidemia were all patients who went to the outpatient clinic of acupuncture department of Wuhan hospital of traditional Chinese medicine from May 2018 to November 2019 for treatment.The 76 patients were divided randomly into two group,control group and observation group with 38 patients.The two groups of patients were told to control diet and motion,the control group was treated for electro-acupuncture,and the acupoints were selected as Zhongwan,Tianshu,Daheng,Shangjuxu,Quchi,Zhigou,Zusan li,Fenglong,Yinlingquan,Daimai.After needling qi,electro-acupuncture was connected to the bilateral Tianshu and Daheng,The needle was retained for 30 min,once every other one day,and fifteen times is a period of treatment,3 courses altogether.The observation group was electro-acupuncture with cupping.Electro-acupuncture therapy was followed by cupping therapy in the abdomen or lower back,retained for 15 min.And that is no difference between the electro-acupuncture treatment method and course.Changes in obesity indexes,blood-lipid and TCM clinical symptoms were observed before and after treatment.Use statistical analysis to analyze the relevant indicators,and the efficacy and safety of the two intervention methods were evaluated.Result 1.Comparison of total effective rate before and after treatment between the two groups: The control group was 83.3%,and the observation group was 89.2%.Chi-square test showed no significant difference between those two sets of data(P> 0.05).The consequence revealed that both groups were effective for this disease.2.Comparison of changes in BW、BMI、WC and F% before and after treatment: After treatment,BW、BMI、WC and F% of both groups were all decreased compared with those before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparing the two groups,the observation group reduced more significantly in BW、BMI、WC and F%(P<0.05).3.Comparison of changes in blood-lipids before and after treatment: After treatment,the TC,TG and LDL-C of the both groups declined compared with before treatment,while HDL-C rose,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Comparing the two groups,the observation group have more improvement degree of blood-lipids(P< 0.05).4.Comparison of changes in TCM clinical symptom score before and after treatment: After treatment,the TCM clinical symptom score of the both groups decreased compared with that before treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Comparing the two groups,observation group reduced dramatically.(P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of syndrome of dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency of Simple Obesity complicated with Hyperlipidemia,electro-acupuncture alone and electro-acupuncture combined with cupping therapy can not only lose weight,correct the imbalance of blood-lipids,but also relieve the patients’ TCM clinical symptoms such as edema,limb fatigue,and weak.However,electro-acupuncture combined with cupping therapy has shown more notable advantages in the treatment of this disease and worth spreading.
