Clinical Observation Of Zhengrong Decoctiom And Siwu Decoction Combined With Western Medicine In The Treatment Of Acquired Paralytic Strabismus

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Zhengrong Decoction and Siwu Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of acquired paralytic strabismus.Methods:60 patients,who met the strict inclusion criteria,were divided into the treatment group and the eontrol group,30 cases each,according to the random number table method.The control group was treated with western medicine routine treatment(Prednisolone acetate tablets 40mg,once a day,reduced dosage after 1 week,decreased by 5mg per week,stopped gradually.Omeprazole enteric-coated capsules 20mg,once a day;Potassium chloride sustained release tablets 1g,twice a day;Mecobalamin capsules 0.5 mg,three times a day),while the treatment group on the basis of control group therapy was treated with traditional Chinese medicine Zhengrong Decoction and Siwu Decoction(composed of Giant typhonium rhizome,Prepared rhizome of rehmannia,Notopterygium,Saposhnikovia divaricate,Bile arisaema,Rhizome pinellinae praeparata,Bombyx mori linnaeus,Angelica sinensis,Gentianae macrophyllae radix,Fructus chaenomalis,Paeoniae radix alba,Ligusticum chuanxiong and liquorice)for 8 weeks.The scores of the degree of diplopia,the position of eye,compensatory head posture,dizziness,nausea,emesis,other symptoms and other safety index in the two groups were compared at the before treatment,the 1st,2nd,3rd,4th,6th,8th week during the treatment.SPSS26.0 was adoped for the statistical analysis of data.Results:1.The changes of scroes before and after treatment in every groups:The scores of patients in every groups were reduced significantly after treatment(P<0.05).The result suggests the treatment in every groups were effective.2.Total effective rate:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.75%,and that of the control group was 86.7%.But there was no significant difference bet.Areen them(P>0.05).3.Comparison of the every symptom between the two groups after treatment:The scroes of the degree of diplopia,the position of eye and compensatory head posture showed no significant difference(P>0.05).But the decreaces of dizziness,nausea,emesis and other symptoms were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).4.Comparison of scores at each follow-up point:At 2nd weeks after treatment,the scores of the treatment group were significantly decreased(P<0.05).There was no significant significance between the two groups at other follow-up points.5.No adverse events occurred during the study.Conclusion:Zhengrong Decoction combined with Siwu Decoction combined with western medicine to treat acquired paralytie strabismus can further improve the systemic symptoms of patients,improve the clinical signs and symptomes of patients more quickly,shorten the course of disease,reduce the pain of patients,and has a better safety.lt has worthy of clinical application.
