| At present,the healthcare market dominated by public hospitals in our country is facing more and more challenges,such as patients waiting for a long time,high cost of hospitals and intensification of contradictions between doctors and patients,etc.,which lead to the dysfunction of the healthcare market,the unsatisfactory performance of the healthcare market and so on.As a result,for the sake of improving the level of healthcare services and meeting the needs of people’s healthcare services,the Chinese government has introduced a series of policies to encourage the establishment of social healthcare services.Against this background,the public-private partnership model emerged.On account of the different economic development levels in different regions in China,there are significantly different concentration degree in the healthcare market,and the market structure is obviously distinctive.Accordingly,it is of great theoretical significance and application value to study the influence of operation model on the performance of healthcare market in different market structures.Therefore,this paper takes the different operation model of healthcare market in China as the research subject,and considers two market structures of the perfect monopoly and the duopoly.In each market structure,different market situations are divided on the basis of the introduction degree of public-private partnership.By comparing the market performance in different market situations,the effect of the public-private partnership on market performance in the perfect monopoly and the duopoly market,and the competition of introducing public-private hospital on market performance are respectively discussed.The main work of this paper are as follows:(1)Analysis on the optimal strategy of hospital in the perfect monopoly healthcare market.Considering the entry of the public-private partnership and the different types of hospitals,i.e.,public hospital monopolizing the healthcare market and public-private hospital monopolizing the healthcare market.Meanwhile,the optimization problems of the public and the public-private hospital are respectively explored,so as to get the optimal strategy of the public hospital and the public-private hospital,and the market performance under the perfect monopoly market.(2)Analysis on the equilibrium strategy of hospitals in duopoly healthcare market.Considering the degree of entry to the market of public-private partnership model,then this paper studies three situations in the duopoly healthcare market based on the different types of two competing hospitals:the duopoly healthcare market of two public hospitals,two public-private hospitals,and one public and one public-private hospital respectively.Game theory is used to analyze the equilibrium strategy of two competing hospitals for each situation of market,so as obtain the market performance under the each situation of market.(3)Research on the effect of public-private partnership model on market performance in different market structures.In this paper,the effect of public-private partnership model on market performance are analyzed from three aspects.Firstly,the effect of the public-private partnership model on the performance in the perfect monopoly market are analyzed by comparing the market performance of a public and a public-private hospital under the perfect monopoly.Secondly,the effect of the public-private partnership model on the market performance in the duopoly medical market are analyzed by comparing the market performance in duopoly market of two public and two public-private hospitals,and the mixture of one public and one public-private hospital.Finally,the effect of the competition of public-private partnership on market performance are explored by comparing the market performance of a public hospital in perfect monopoly market with the mixture of a public and a public-private hospital in duopoly market.Finally,this paper summarizes the main research results,conclusions,research limitations and further work to be carried out in the future. |
