Clinical Observation Of Shutiao Qi Ji Decoction On Hypothyroidism With Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency Combined With Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy,changes of symptoms and signs of Shutiao qi ji Decoction in treating Liver depression and spleen deficiency type hypothyroidism combined with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis,and to evaluate its safety.To explore understand the pathogenesis of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with liver depression and spleen deficiency combined with hypothyroidism,and to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism for traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: From December 2018 to December 2019,83 patients diagnosed as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with liver depression and spleen deficiency and hypothyroidism meeting the selection criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,after get into the group,carrying out health education and reasonable low iodine diet,hereon this basis,the treatment group is treated with shutiao qi ji decoction formula granules combined with western medicine(levothyroxine sodium tablets),and the control group is treated with western medicine(levothyroxine sodium tablets).Twelve weeks is one course of treatment,with a total of one course of treatment.After the course of treatment,The two groups were compared the data of curative effect,TSH,FT3,FT4,TT3,TT4,AGAB,TPOAB,clinical symptoms,TCM syndrome score,etc.Statistical analysis was used to analyze the curative effect of Shutiao qi ji Decoction on Hashimoto’s thyroiditis complicatedwith hypothyroidism due to liver depression and spleen deficiency.Results: Eighty-three patients were randomly divided into two groups,the experimental group(L-T4)40 cases and the control group(L-T4)40 cases.In the process of this study,due to some reasons,the patients separated from the doctor in charge of this study and lost contact with him.After 12 weeks of treatment,the clinical indexes and TCM symptoms of the two groups were observed,and the changes of the two groups before and after treatment were compared through statistical analysis.In the control group,1 case fell off and 40 cases were actually included.In the experimental group,2 cases fell off and 40 cases were actually included.1.In the aspect of TCM symptoms: after treatment,the treatment group and the control group showed a decrease in TCM symptom scores,but the decrease in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,with statistical significance(p< 0.05);In terms of symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,impatience and irritability,emotional depression,limb burnout,appetite,insomnia and other aspects are superior to the control group.Traditional Chinese medicine symptom curative effect: the effective rate of the treatment group is 95%,the effective rate of the control group is 75%,the comparison between the two groups has statistical significance(p<0.05).2.In terms of thyroid function: the levels of serum FT4 and FT3 in the treatment group and the control group were higher than before after treatment,with statistical significance(p < 0.05)compared in the two groups.Compared between the two groups,the treatment group is superior to the control group with difference(p<0.05).TSH levels in both groups decreased,and there was significant difference between the two groups(p <0.01).Compared between the two groups,the treatment group is superior to the control group,with statistically significant difference(p<0.05).The titres of TgAb and TPOAb in the treatment group and the control group were both lower than before,with statistical difference(p<0.05)in comparison between the two groups.compared between the two groups,the treatment group was superior tothe control group,with statistical difference(p<0.05).3.Safety index: At follow-up period,the treatment group and the control group had no obvious adverse reactions in terms of safety indicators such as liver,kidney function,blood routine,etc.Conclusion: Shutiao qi ji Decoction combined with levothyroxine sodium tablets can treat Hashimoto’s thyroiditis with hypothyroidism of liver depression and spleen type,improve the symptoms of the patient,reduce the integral of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,and at the same time have a certain regulatory effect on thyroid function,improve clinical curative effect,better improve the quality of life of the patient,and to a certain extent,the curative effect is safe and stable without toxic and side effects.
