| Objective:Through the summary and analysis of the related data of the electromagnetic navigation system combined with the complicated sinus surgery under nasal endoscope,the clinical application value of electromagnetic navigation in the complicated sinus surgery under nasal endoscope was explored.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 63 cases of sinus surgery in our department from June 2008 to June 2019,including whole group of sinusitis,multiple groups of sinusitis(lesions involving frontal,ethmoid or sphenoid sinus)and recurrent sinusitis.According to whether or not to use electromagnetic navigation technology,they were divided into two groups: the navigation group(29 cases)and the non-navigation group(34 cases).The difference was the use of electromagnetic navigation system and simple nasal endoscopic sinus surgery.Through the statistical analysis of the operation time,intraoperative bleeding volume,surgical complications and postoperative nasal cavity comfort degree of the two groups of patients,to explore the difference of operation between the two groups.Result:1.The operation time of the navigation group was 59.76 ± 14.10 min,and the amount of bleeding was 49.41 ± 19.40 ml.The operation time of the non-navigation group was 68.62 ± 16.21 min,and the amount of bleeding was 49.41 ±19.40 ml.Operation time and bleeding volume in the navigation group were significantly reduced compared with the non-navigation group,with statistically significant differences(P < 0.05).2.There were 1 case of intranasal complications in the navigation group,no intraorbital or intracranial complications,3 cases of intranasal complications in the non-navigation group,and 1 case of intraorbital complications,no intracranial complications.The surgical complications in the navigation group were less than those in the non-navigation group,and the difference was not statistically significant.3.The postoperative nasal cavity comfort degree of the navigation group was significantly better than that of the non-navigation group 3 months after surgery,with statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion:The whole group of sinusitis,multiple groups of sinusitis and recurrent sinusitis were operated with the assistance of electromagnetic navigation,compared with simple endoscopic surgery,the operation could accurately identify intraoperative anatomical signs and identify important structures during the operation,which could reduce the operation time,intraoperative blood loss and the occurrence of surgical complications.Electromagnetic navigation surgery is safe and accurate,and can be popularized and applied in complex sinus surgery. |
