Effectiveness Of Selenium Disulfide Lotion Combined With Nitricacid Sertaconazole Cream In The Treatment Ofscaly Keratinized Tinea Manus And Tinea Pedis

Objective:To observe the effectiveness of selenium disulfide lotion combined with sertaconazole nitrate cream in the treatment of scalykeratinizedtinea manus and tinea pedis.Methods:The clinical data of scalykeratinizedtinea manus and tinea pedis in the Department of Dermatology,Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College from January,2019 to January,2020 were collected.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group.The control group was treated with topical nitric acid sertaconazole cream twice a day.The experimental group was added 2.5%selenium disulfide lotion once a nighton the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,fungal clearance rate and safety of the two groups were observed after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment.Results:A total of 108 patients were selected,including 53 cases in the experimental group and 55 cases in the control group.Among them,62 were male and 46 were female.The male-female ratio was 1.35:1;the ages ranged from 24-80 years old,and the average age was 42.47±11.70 years old.The course of disease ranged from 4 months to 10 years,with an average course of disease of2.66±1.80 years;the initial disease score was 6-15 points,and the average disease score was 9.81±2.10 points.There was no statistical difference between the two groups in the basic data such as gender,age,disease course,and initial disease score(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,in the experimental group,the cure rate was 9.43%and the effective rate was 56.60%,and in the control group,the cure rate was 3.64%and the effective rate was 29.09%.There was no statistical difference in the cure rate between the two groups(P>0.05);The effective rate of the exprimental group was better than that of the control group with statistical difference(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,in the experimental group,the cure rate was 50.94%and the effective rate was 90.57%;in the control group,the cure rate was 30.91%and the effective rate was 70.91%.The cure rate and the effective rate of the experimental group were better than that of the control groupwith statistical difference(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the fungal clearance rate of the experimental group was 56.60%,and the fungal clearance rate of the control group was 29.09%.The fungal clearance rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group with statistical difference(P<0.05).After 4 weeks of treatment,the fungal clearance rate of the experimental group was 90.57%,and the fungal clearance rate of the control group was 70.91%.The study shows that the fungal clearance rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group with statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with scalykeratinizedtinea manus and tinea pedis,selenium disulfide lotioncombined with sertaconazole nitrate cream can significantly improve the patient’s clinical symptoms and increase the fungal clearance rate,which is safe,feasible,and worth promoting.
