Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of H-type Hypertension(Phlegm-blood-stasis)with Modified Erchenpingwei Decoction

Objective: To observe the effects of Modified Er Chen Ping Wei Decoction combined with western medicine on the resting blood pressure,plasma Hcy,single and total scores of TCM syndromes,TCM syndromes effectiveness and the evaluation of quality of life in patients with H-type hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis).To evaluate the clinical effectiveness of using Modified Er Chen Ping Wei Decoction combined with western medicine to treat patients with H-type hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis),in an effort to provide a better foundation for the treatment of H-type hypertension.Methods: From March 2019 to December 2019,60 patients between 55 and75 years old that have been diagnosed by western medicine as having primary hypertension and whose laboratory results showed plasma Hcy greater than or equal to 10umol/L with TCM type phlegm and blood stasis were chosen.Randomized number table method was used to divide the patients into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.Both groups were given daily single doses of Enalapril Maleate and Folic Acid tablets of10mg/0.8mg.At the same time,the treatment group was also given Modified Er Chen Ping Wei Decoction.After 2 weeks of continuous medication,observed the changes of resting blood pressure,plasma Hcy,single and total scores of TCM syndromes,TCM syndrome effectiveness,and the evaluation of the quality of life.Using SPSS20.0 statistics,obtained a conclusion by analyzing various observations and correlations.Results:1.After treatment,the resting blood pressure of both groups decreased(P<0.01),which was statistically significant.The resting blood pressure of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.The total efficiency of resting blood rate for the treatment group was 93.10%.The total efficiency of resting blood rate for the control group was 86.67%(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.2.After treatment,the homocysteine of both groups decreased,which wasstatistically significant.After treatment,the homocysteine of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,which showed difference in the statistics.3.After treatment,the single and total scores of TCM syndromes of the two groups both decreased.Furthermore,the single and total scores of TCM syndromes of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 89.66% and that of the control group was 80.00%(P<0.05),P<0.05,showing the statistical significance.4.After treatment,the quality of life score for both groups improved.The score for the treatment group was better than that for the control group(P<0.01),which was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Using Modified Er Chen Ping Wei Decoction combined with western medicine to treat patients with H-type hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis)showed significant improvement in resting blood pressure and plasma Hcy compared to the control group.2.Using Modified Er Chen Ping Wei Decoction combined with western medicine to treat patients with H-type hypertension(phlegm and blood stasis)showed significant improvement in clinical symptoms and quality of life compared to the control group.
