| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of modified Erchen decoction in the treatment of persistent atrial fibrillation, and to provide an effective method for the treatment of persistent atrial fibrillation. Methods: From May 2019 to February 2021,64 patients with persistent AF in the outpatient department of Cardiology,Nangang Branch of Heilongjiang Provincial Traditional Chinese medicine hospital were selected.Sixty four persistent AF patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into two Erchen Decoction plus flavor group(treatment group)and amiodarone group(control group),for which medication was applied for 21 days. The two data were analyzed to evaluate the effectiveness of the addition of flavor to Erchen decoction. Results :1.TCM syndrome curative effect: after treatment, the clinical symptoms of the two groups were alleviated, the total effective rate of the control group was 72.5%,and the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.5%,P < 0.05,indicating that the modified Erchen decoction is better than the control group in TCM Syndrome curative effect.2.Single symptom of traditional Chinese medicine:(1)Treatment group comparisons within the group of TCM single item syndrome scores before and after treatment,P < 0.05,with statistical significance, indicating that modified Erchen decoction has obvious improvement in the treatment of palpitation, chest tightness, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, heavy limbs, dizziness, poor sleep and poor appetite.(2)The control group was compared before and after treatment,P < 0.05,with statistical significance.(3)The differences between the treatment group and the control group after treatment were compared, and the scores of palpitation, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness and poor appetite were compared,P < 0.05,which showed that the curative effect of modified Erchen decoction was better than that of the control group in improving the above symptoms; In terms of chest tightness, heaviness of limbs, and poor sleep,P > 0.05,which was not statistically significant, indicating that there was no significant difference between the addition of decoction of Dichen and the control group of Western medicine in the treatment of the above symptoms. The effective rate of the two groups was compared: after treatment, the effective rate of the control group was 70%,the marked effective rate was 16.67%,the cure rate was 0,the total effective rate was 86.67%,the effective rate of the treatment group was 16.67%,the marked effective rate was 70%,the cure rate was 6.67%,the total effective rate was 93.33%,indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in the efficacy of TCM symptoms.3.The response rates of the two groups with 24-hour Holter were 70% and 83.33%,respectively.The control group had a marked efficiency of 10% and a response rate of60%;The treatment group achieved a remarkable response rate of 13.33% and a response rate of 70%.By contrast,P = 0.258,P < 0.05,not statistically significant,i.e;Mean ventricular rate between the two groups after the treatment of intragroup comparison,P < 0.05,was statistically significant, which indicated that both the addition of decoction of dichhen combined with western medicine treatment had an effect;between the two groups after post-treatment,P < 0.05,not statistically significant, there was no obvious difference between the two Chen Decoction plus flavor group and the western medicine control group in terms of the efficacy of ECG.4.During the treatment,no adverse effects occurred between the two Chen Decoction plus flavor group and the western medicine basic treatment group. All indicators of safety values did not change before and after clinical medication. Conclusion:The addition of flavor from Dichen Decoction to treat persistent atrial fibrillation of phlegm turbid and blood stasis type has a significant effect, which,on the premise of a good clinical safety, may allow patients to achieve a marked relief in symptoms such as palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, fatigue, dizziness, and Nadin. |
