Objective: To analyze the test results of executive function(EF)in patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI),and to preliminary analyze the test results of this cognitive domain between normal elderly and MCI patients, looking for early indicators of change in MCI to optimize screening projects, easy to implement and not reduce accuracy. Methods: Patients with mild cognitive impairment mainly suffer from decreased memory function, with or without impairment of other cognitive domains(executive function, language function, attention function, and visual spatial function),and normal daily life ability.Executive function is a very important cognitive function. In this study,we mainly analyze the cognitive domain of executive function, and use the classification method in the neuropsychological assessment(second edition)edited by Guo Qihao to divide executive function into three points. The factors are inhibition, set shifting, and fluency. The corresponding test scales are the Stroop color word test, the trail making test, and the verbal fluency test.In the community, the middle-aged and elderly people aged 50-69 years old, junior high school and above were tested for cognitive function and daily life ability, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the trial design and the preliminary test results of the subjects,50 middle-aged and elderly people with normal cognition were selected as normal control group(normal control group,NC group),and 50 patients with mild cognitive impairment were selected as case group(MCI group),and then the two groups of subjects were systematically tested by the neuropsychological test, the test involves multiple cognitive domains. The cognitive domain of executive function is selected for analysis, and the difference of the cognitive domain test results between the two groups is compared. Results: The test results of the executive functions of the MCI group and the NC group included in the research object are within the normal range. The time-consuming of part A of trail making test has no statistical significance(P > 0.05);the result of the part B of trail making test is significantly different, and the difference is statistically significant(t = 2.475,P < 0.05).The difference in the results of the correct number of Stroop color word test card A,card B and card C was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);the difference in the result of the time spent on the Stroop color word test card A and card C was not statistically significant(P > 0.05),only the result of card B is statistically significant(t = 2.871,P < 0.05).The results of language fluency test showed that the MCI group was better than the NC group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Although the test results of the test object reflecting the executive function scale are all within the normal range, there are some test results that show that the MCI group is worse than the NC group, reflecting some of the results of the scale of inhibition and set shifting. There have been obvious differences, and the differences are statistically significant. There was no statistically significant difference in the fluency test results between the two groups.According to this, the patients with mild cognitive impairment, during the progression of the disease, before the cognitive domain of executive function is not damaged, the two factors(inhibition and set shifting)may change. In the screening of cognitive function, selective detection of executive function for inhibition and set shifting can simplify the screening items in the actual clinical operation, facilitate the implementation, and will not reduce the sensitivity of screening.
