Objective:To explore the economic and practical method of eradicating and treating family-aggregated Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection.Methods:Through the 13C-UBT test,300 H.pylori-infected families who attended the Department of Gastroenterology,Cangzhou People’s Hospital from October 2017 to August 2018 were included and divided into a common treatment group(group A)and a separate treatment group according to the family wishes of the patients. The independent treatment group was randomly divided into a separate drug treatment group(group B)and a separate drug treatment + education intervention group(group C).The number of households in groups A,B,and C was 92,104,and 104,respectively.Compare the eradication rate of H.pylori and the recurrence rate after 1 year in patients in groups A,B,and C.Results:1.The H.pylori infection rate of outpatients with stomach problems was 57.0%(535/938).Among the 300 infected families, the H.pylori infection rate was as high as 76.1%(703/924).All patients treated with medication returned to the hospital for a review of the 13C-UBT test after 1 month, with a response rate of 100%;15 cases were lost to follow-up after 1 year, with a response rate of 94.5%(259/274).2.The H.pylori eradication rates of patients in groups A,B,and C were 94.6%,87.5%,and 92.3%,respectively,with no significant difference(P> 0.05).3.The eradication rate of H.pylori in group A patients was 94.6%,and the eradication rate of family members was 85.9%.The difference between the two was statistically significant(P <0.05).4.After successful eradication of H.pylori infection, the 13C-UBT test was re-examined 1 year after discontinuation,The recurrence rates of H.pylori in the three groups A,B,and C were 4.8%,18.6%,and 5.6%.There was a statistically significant difference between the single drug treatment group and the other two groups(P<0.0167).There was no significant difference in recurrence rates between groups A and C(P> 0.0167).Conclusion:1.Familial clustered H.pylori infection, drug alone and education intervention treatment can achieve approximately the same eradication rate and relapse rate as co-treatment.2.Multiple people in the family are infected with H.pylori, only a single member treats, the recurrence rate is high3.Family clustering H.pylori infection, the eradication rate of family members accompanying the treatment is low,and co-treatment does not show an advantage. If the combined education and intervention can achieve better results, further observation and research are needed.
