Exposure Status Of Stroke Risk Factors Among Residents In A Community Of Huzhou

Research Purpose:This study aims to understand the health status of residents in a community,the exposure level and distribution of stroke risk factors,and the residents' cognition of stroke risk factors by investigating the stroke risk factors of people over 40 years old in a community in Huzhou.Provide evidence and data support for stroke prevention and intervention,take targeted intervention measures for residents,provide targeted health education,change unhealthy lifestyle,control risk factors,and improve the implementation of residents' self-care.Research Methods:Based on the screening work of high-risk population of stroke in a community of Huzhou City,this study investigated the general items and common risk factors of stroke among those who met the selection criteria by cluster sampling,as well as the cognitive status of risk factors of stroke,and completed the basic data collection,physical examination and laboratory examination.By statistical analysis of data and information,the risk class ification of stroke and the epidemiological data of related risk factors were obtained.Research Results:(1)The analysis of risk factors of stroke showed that 740 cases were at low risk,accounting for 34.48%,560 cases were at medium risk,accounting for 26.10%,846 cases were at high risk,accounting for 39.42%.(2)The proportion of high-risk stroke population in 40-49 age group was 19.94%;the proportion of high-risk stroke population in 50-59 age group was 34.53%;the proportion of high-risk stroke population in 60-69 age group was 46.59%;the proportion of high-risk stroke population in 70-79 age group was 51.49%;and the proportion of high-risk stroke population in over 80 age group was 55.67%.(3)The analysis of the distribution of stroke risk population of different gender showed that the proportion of high-risk population in male population(49.25%)was higher than that in female population(30.90%),while the proportion of low-risk and middle-risk population was lower than that in female population.(4)The results of exposure analysis of risk factors for stroke showed that the highest risk factors were lack of physical exercise(64.17%),the others were hypertension(60.48%),dyslipidemia(49.02%),smoking(27.96%),overweight or obesity(8.34%),diabetes(6.06%),family history of stroke(4.85%),atrial fibrillation or valvular heart disease(0.93%).The risk factors of stroke in male population with higher exposure rate were lack of physical exercise(62.69%),hypertension(61.58%),smoking(59.48%)and dyslipidemia(44.43%).The higher exposure rate in female population was lack of physical exercise(65.45%),hypertension(59.53%)and dyslipidemia(53.00%).(5)People with higher BMI level,higher Hcy level,drinking habits,salty diet and sweet diet had a higher proportion of high-risk stroke population.(6)The cognitive rate of stroke risk factors was 28.1%-70.7%.Research Conclusion:(1)The proportion of high-risk and middle-risk groups of stroke is higher than the national level,39.42% and 26.10% respectively,which may be related to the aging degree of the area,residents' lifestyle and diet culture,and should be paid attention by the local government,health institutions and residents.(2)The proportion of people over 40 years old in this community increases with age.(3)The main risk factors of stroke in the community over 40 years old were lack of exercise,high blood pressure,dyslipidemia,and smoking in male population.The highest risk factor for high-risk stroke patients is hypertension,followed by lack of exercise,dyslipidemia,and smoking.The risk of male population is higher than that of female population,and those who drink a lot or have a sweet taste are more likely to be at high risk of stroke.(4)The community has a low awareness of stroke risk factors among people over 40 years old.It is urgent to carry out health education actively,improve the cognition of community residents to the risk factors of stroke,and take corresponding prevention and intervention measures actively.
