Design And Implementation Of Teleconsultation Center System

Teleconsultation is a new medical model which manage to analyze the history,diagnosis and treatment of disease between two or more geographically separated health providers based on a teleconsultation software via a combine of multimedia technology,video communication technology and internet technology.Teleconsultation is an important way for telemedicine.Teleconsultation breaks the limitation of time and space and improves the ability of doctors in diagnosing and treating of diseases by organizing multi-disciplinary experts in multiple places to participate in a discussion.The appearance of teleconsultation is of great significance to improve medical personnel and institutions to share medical resources and reduce medical expenses.The research of this paper aims to design a teleconsultation center system based on clinical medicine,according to the survey of research and development status both in domestic and overseas.The research plans the network structure and software architecture of the system,and design the system database furthermore.Four function modules which mainly make up the system are user management module,consultation process management module,patient information inquiry module and video consultation module.The user management module is to manage the account information of registered users and assign their role permissions,and control the restriction and opening of system functions by the division of roles.The consultation process management module is the main part in consultant organizing.The process may be divided into five sessions including consultation application,application review,application arrangement,task execution and report writing.Patient information includes basic information and medical information,which means the patient’s electronic medical record,medical advices,inspection report and medical imaging diagnostic reports.Video consultation would provide video telephony between experts participating consultation by Webex video plugin.System also support to review the patient’s information and interactive operation while the video call.In this study,the module function and the whole function of the system are tested by multithreading and multi-task.The system run stably when the basic hardware configuration is satisfied during the test.The research fulfils the need of patient consultation,resolving the problem that experts cannot manage to discuss the patient case in time due to their different places.This study greatly meets the consultation and education needs between third-class hospital and basic hospital and furtherly promotes the development of telemedicine in China.At present,the system has been applied in a third grade hospital...
