Objectives To study the factors related to the occurrence of gastric polyps and colorectal polyps, and whether the clinical characteristics of gastric polyps are related to the occurrence of colorectal polyps, and provide a basis for clinical colorectal polyps screening and intervention and provide the basis for clinical colorectal polyps screening and intervention. Methods Select 185 patients with gastric polyps hospitalized in the Department of Gastroenterology of the Affiliated Hospital of North China University of Technology from January 2017 to April 2019,based on whether colorectal polyps were combined,107 of them were combined with colorectal polyps The cases were taken as the case group, and 78 cases of simple gastric polyps were taken as the control group.Collect clinical data of two groups of patients, including age, gender,BMI,PPI medication history,Helicobacter pylori infection, blood lipids, blood uric acid and previous medical history(hypertension, diabetes),and collect the results of two groups of gastroscope reports, including polyps size, number, location and pathological type.Enter and organize all the collected data in an Excel table, use SPSS software package for statistical analysis, use chi-square test to compare the composition ratio between groups, and use binary logistic regression method to analyze the related factors of gastric polyps and colorectal polyps.P<0.05 means the difference is statistically significant. Results 1 General statistical results: a total of 107 cases in the case group, including 55 males, accounting for 51.4%,52 females, accounting for 48.6%,with an average age of 61.01±9.18 years;78 control groups, including 28 males, accounting for 35.9%,50 women, accounting for 64.1%,with an average age of 56.79±8.87 years.2 Age distribution: the case group has the largest proportion of 61-70 years old,45.8%,followed by 51-60 years old,26.2%;the control group has the largest proportion of 51-60 years old,39.8%,followed by 61-70 years old,34.6%.There were 61 cases in the case group over 60 years old, accounting for 57.0%,and 32 cases in the control group over 60 years old, accounting for 41.0%.3 Univariate analysis: Compared with the control group, the proportion of males, over 60 years old, overweight,Hp infection, smoking, drinking, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol in the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P=0.036,0.032,0.007,0.001,0.022,0.011,0.020,0.039);the clinical characteristics(size, number, location, pathological type)of gastric polyps between the two groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05);There was no statistically significant difference in the proportions of diabetes, high triglyceride, high and low density lipoprotein, high uric acid, and PPI between the two groups(P>0.05).3 Multivariate logistic regression analysis: the risk factors for gastric polyps combined with colorectal polyps are age, overweight, and Hp infection(P=0.032,0.029,0.006),and the odds ratio of each risk factor from large to small is Hp infection(OR=2.557,95% CI: 1.315-4.974),overweight(OR=2.151,95%CI: 1.083-4.271),age(OR=2.088,95%CI: 1.067-4.085).Conclusions 1 The risk factors for gastric polyps combined with colorectal polyps are Hp infection, age greater than 60 years old,and overweight, and the risks are: Hp infection, overweight, and age greater than 60 years old.2 The size, number, location and pathological type of gastric polyps are not related to the occurrence of gastric polyps and colorectal polyps.Figure 2;Table 9;Reference 151...
