Retrospective Study Of ZhuJingWanJiaJian Decoction Combined With Acupuncture And Acupoint Injection In Treating Optic Nerve Atrophy Of Liver And Kidney Yin Deficiency Type

Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical efficacy of ZhuJingWanJiaJian Decoction combined with acupuncture and acupoint injection in the treatment of optic nerve atrophy of liver-kidney yin deficiency type,and evaluate its intervention effects on visual function indicators such as vision,visual field,P-VEP and TCM syndromes To provide some clinical evidence for the comprehensive application of traditional Chinese medicine therapy in the treatment of optic nerve atrophy.Method:A retrospective analysis was performed on the case data of 40 patients(65 eyes)with liver and kidney yin deficiency type optic nerve atrophy admitted to our hospital from January 1,2017 to December 31,2019 and meeting the study entry criteria.Comprehensive Chinese medicine therapy includes:① oral administration of ZhuJingWanJiaJian Decoction;②acupuncture,once a day,30 minutes each time,acupuncture points:JingMing,ChengQi,QiuHou,ChuanZhu,YuYao,Ganshu,Shenshu,Acupoints were selected based on syndrome differentiation in Taixi and Sanyinjiao.③Compound anisodine injection was injected into the acupuncture point next to the superficial temporal artery,2ml each time,once a day.2 weeks is a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses.Comprehensive collection of case data and test reports such as visual acuity,fundus,visual field,visual evoked potential,and TCM symptoms before and after treatment analysis.Result:1.Visual acuity:The median visual acuity of the patients after 2 courses of treatment was slightly higher than that before treatment,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant;2.Visual field:(1)The mean value of MD after treatment was reduced compared with that before treatment,P<0.01,the difference is statistically significant;(2)the mean value of MS after treatment is increased compared with that before treatment,P>0.05,the difference is not statistically significant;(3)the MD%value before and after treatment is compared,and the MD%after treatment is more than that after treatment Anterior reduction,P<0.05 before and after comparison,the difference is statistically significant;3.P-VEP:(1)P100 wave latent time after treatment is reduced compared with before treatment,P<0.05 before and after comparison,the difference is statistically significant;(2)After treatment,the amplitude of P100 wave increased compared with that before treatment,and the difference was significant P<0.01 before and after treatment.4.The comprehensive effect:the effective rate of patients after treatment was 58.46%,the effective rate was 3.08%,and the total effective rate was 61.54%.The ineffective rate was 38.46%;5.TCM symptom score:After treatment,the patients’dim vision,binocular dryness,dizziness,tinnitus,and backache nocturnal emission were significantly improved than before treatment,P<0.01,the difference was significant.Concluded:1.ZhuJingWanJiaJian Decoction combined with acupuncture and acupoint injection can protect the vision of patients with liver and kidney deficient optic nerve atrophy,can reduce the average defect of the visual field,and improve the P100 wave latency and amplitude;2.ZhuJingWanJiaJian Decoction combined with acupuncture and acupoint injection can obviously alleviate ocular symptoms and systemic symptoms such as Unclear vision,Shadow occlusion,dryness,Insomnia,Hot flashes and night sweats etc.,thereby improving the systemic syndrome of patients with liver and kidney deficiency optic atrophy.
