Meta-analysis Of Qiliqiangxin Capsule In Treating Elderly Patients With Chronic Heart Failure

OBJECTIVE: To analyze of the curative efficacy and safety of Qiliqiangxin capsule in the treatment of elderly patients with chronic heart failure(CHF)by Meta-analysis,which provide clinical references of the use of evidence based support.METHODS: We searched Cochrane Library,PubMed,CNKI,Wanfang data,Vip database,CBM about the randomized controlled trials of elderly patients with chronic heart failure that treated with Qiliqiangxin Capsule.Then screened the study according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and evaluated the quality of the final included literature.The quality assessment of studies was used the Cochrane Risk Bias Assessment Tool and improved Jadad scoring,the Meta-analysis was used by software RevMan5.3.RESULTS: There were 19 RCT researches and 1847 patients met the inclusion criterion.All of the control group was treated with routine treatment,and all of the experimental group was treated with Qiliqiangxin Capsule on the routine treatment.Meta-analysis showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving clinical efficacy,improving echocardiographic related indicators,reducing BNP and increasing 6-minute walking distance.In terms of safety analysis,the results of the analysis were not statistically significant and only a descriptive analysis was performed.CONCLUSION: Meta-analysis shows that the experimental group of Qiliqiangxin capsule combined with conventional therapy was superior to the control group of conventional therapy in improving clinical efficacy,improving echocardiographic related cardiac function,reducing BNP and increasing 6-minute walking distance,and could be widely used in clinical practice.The meta-analysis results of the safety evaluators had no statistical significance,so only a descriptive analysis was performed,relatively safe for elderly patients with chronic heart failure.It is worthy of clinical promotion.Due to low quality of included studies,pending further high-quality researches to study its efficacy and safety.
