Lycium barbarum L.(generally called Goji berry or Wolfberry)belongs to the family Solanaceae,which widely distributed in China.Wolfberry is the dried fruit of L.barbarum,which exhibits anti-oxidant,anti-inflammatory,and immune-regulating effects etc..As a traditional Chinese health food,wolfberry is popular among people due to its smooth taste and good efficacy.The chemical components of L.barbarum mainly contains alkaloids,phenolamides,flavonoids and their derivatives.At present,a lot of studies on the fat-soluble chemical constituents of L.barbarum have been done,while there are few researchs on its water-soluble constituents.In study,the water-soluble components of L.barbarum were used as the main target for the isolation and identification,which can provide the basis for subsequent activity tests.Therefore,the extract of 0.1%hydrochloric acid ethanol solution was used as the research object in our experiment.This wolfberry extract was isolated by using various column chromatography,such as small-pore resin column MCI,HW-40F,C18-OPN,etc.,and finally a total of 9 compounds were obtained,which were identified as 5-hydroxymethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carbaldehyde(1),L-tryptophan(2),4-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl cis-phenyl acrylic acid(3),trans-p-coumaric acid 4-O-?-D-glucopyranoside(4),benzenepropanoic acid,4-?-D-glucopyranosyloxy-3-methoxy(5),scopolin(6),2-(carboxyamino)-3-(2a,3-dihydro-7bH-[1,2]dioxeto[3,4-b]indol-7b-yl)propanoic acid(7),ferulic acid(8),4-hydroxy-trans-cinnamic acid(9).Among them,the compound 7 is new.Among them,there are 5 phenyl propionic acid and its glycoside compounds,3 amino acid compounds,and 1 coumarin compound.Phellodendron chinensis is a species of Phellodendron and the genus Rutaceae,which mainly grows in the mountains,rivers and streams of temperate and sub-temperate regions.In China,P.chinensis is mainly distributed in Sichuan,Hubei,Guizhou,Yunnan,Shaanxi,Guangxi and other places.P.chinensis has antibacterial,anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects,and it incldues a variety of chemical composition,such as phenolic acids,alkaloids,triterpenes,and flavonoids etc..In this study,the chemical composition of 60%acetone extract of P.chinensis were investigated to rich the natural product library,deepen the study on P.chinensis,and increase the protection for P.chinensis.By using various column chromatography to separate the water extract of P.chinensis,12 compounds were finally identified,namely as breviscapine A(1),pomegranate B(2),matrine C(3),(1S,3S,4S,5S)-1,3,4-trihy droxy-5-((3-(4-hy droxy-3-methoxybenzene)acryloyl)oxo)cyclohexanecarboxylic acid(4),dihydrosyringin(5),2-hy droxyb enzoi c acid-5-O-?-D-glucoside(6),3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenol-1-O-?-L-rhamnose-(1"?6')-?-D-glucopyranoside(7),?-D-glucoside-4-hydroxy-3-Methoxyphenyl(8),3',5'-dimethoxy-4'-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl cinnamic acid(9),3,5-dimethoxybenzoic acid-4-O-?-D-glucoside(10),3'-methoxy-4'-O-?-D-glucopyranosyl cinnamic acid(11),ferulic acid(12).Among them,7 phenol glycoside compounds and 5 phenyl propionic acid compounds.
