Purpose: This paper discusses the effect of basic situation of preschool children and sleep habits on children’s aggression behaviors,so as to provide theory gist for improving the local preschool children’s sleep quality, promoting their physical and mental health, reducing the incidence of bad behaviors and ensuring their healthy growth. Methods: 358 preschool children in Guilin street of Zhangping City are selected as the respondents.Children’s sleep habits questionnaire(CSHQ)and 12-item aggression questionnaire(12-AQ)are used to test preschool children and their parents, and the results are analyzed statistically. Results: 1.In terms of basic situation, there was significant statistical significance between nurture idea and aggressive behavior of children(t/F =3.241,P < 0.01),and other basic situation, including gender, age, whether the only child, how many babies, mother’s educational level, father’s educational level, sleeping together situation, sleep environment, nurture style, and grade, have no statistical significance in preschool children’s aggressive behavior problems(t/F =0.029~1.095,P>0.05).the age and grade have significant statistical significance with sleep habits(t/F =5.654、5.966,P<0.01).And other basic situation have no significant statistical significance with sleep habits(t/F=0.169~2.921,P>0.05).2.The results showed that the AQ and CSHQ total scores of preschool children in Guilin Area of Zhangping City were 22.02±6.85 and 51.13±6.16 respectively. On weekdays, the bedtime of preschool children is at 21:25±0:31h;on weekends, the bedtime of preschool children is at 21:58±0:04h and waking up time at night is at 7.74±0.836 h.The total sleep time of preschool children on weekdays is(9.98±1.24)h,and on weekends, their total sleep time is(10.16±1.33)h.And the children wake up at 07:13±0:27 in the weekday morning, and at 08:06±0:42 in the weekend morning.According to the analysis of Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient, the AQ total score in statistics has no significant correlation with the bedtime at night on weekdays, the bedtime at night on weekends, the total sleep time on weekdays, the total sleep time on weekends, waking up time in the morning on weekdays and waking up time in the morning on weekends(r=-0.03~0.09,P>0.05).However,the duration of waking up at night has significant significance with the AQ total score, anger factor and hostile factor in statistics(r=0.12~0.16,P<0.01 or P<0.05).There is significant significance between the bedtime at night on weekdays and hostility factor in statistics(r=0.12,P=0.023<0.05).And the waking up time in the weekend morning has a significant correlation with the body attacks(r=0.11,P=0.035<0.05).3.Related analysis results showed that the CSHQ total score has no correlation with the AQ total score(r=0.092,P=0.083>0.05).However,there are some significant correlations among some factors. The CSHQ total score is significantly correlated with anger factor;the factor of the sleep duration is significantly associated with the body attacks;the factor of the waking up at night has significant correlations with the AQ total score, anger factor, and hostility factor;the factor of the parasomnias is significantly related to the verbal aggression factor;the factor of the Sleep-Disordered Breathing(SDB)has a significant correlation with the AQ total score and its other factors(r=-0.15~0.17,P<0.01 or P<0.05).4.According to the linear regression analysis,in the model one,R2 value are 0.042.in the model two,R2 value are 0.079.in the model three,R2 value are 0.100.Conclusion: 1.The aggressive behavior of local preschool children was influenced by sleep habit.2.There is no significant correlation between poor sleep quality and serious aggressive behaviors.3.nurture idea has an impact on aggressive behavior.4.nocturnal awakening and sleep breathing disorders can lead to increased aggressive behavior.
