An Analysis On The Composing Style And Playing Skill Of Wang Xilin's Jin's Style

Wang Xilin is one of a few Chinese Composers who is good at combination of the elements of Chinese traditional music and Western contemporary composing techniques.He also puts his deep feelings and thoughts into his works.The solo piano suite,Jin's Style which was composed in 1998 and had been kept revising until 2017 is one of Wang's representative works.The author is trying to explore the piano performing technique to Chinese contemporary piano music through the life,thought,style,and composition technique of Wang.The essay has three chapters.The first chapter is to introduce the background of Wang and his Jin's Style.The second chapter is to analyze the particular composing technique in Jin's Style.The third chapter is to explore the performing technique and expression ways on Jin's Style.
